Hello BHW members. A few months ago I started uploading Instagram reels, but they are not going good as I expected. I keep getting 1000-3000 views and people in the same niche as me with the exact same format and look of videos keep getting 20k-100k views per reel? I litteraly do everything like them, but the algorithm just does not want to push my reels and even if it pushes them a little bit to like 5000 views I get audience from Africa & India and as all of us know they are not very good for conversion rate to make money.
A few days ago I started a new Instagram account, but it is also getting almost no views or followers...
If someone knows any method to fix this please reply below I would be very thankful!

Whats your niche?
How many reels you posted in total?

It depends on the number of followers you have. What's your comparison against your competitors?

Some possible reasons for low views and their solutions are:
  1. Your content might be similar to other people in your niche, but subtle differences in quality, engagement, or storytelling could impact performance.
  2. Posting at the right time can significantly impact reach. Experiment with different posting times to find your audience's peak activity. Use Instagram Insights to understand your audience demographics, engagement patterns, and reel performance.
  3. Even if you have views, low engagement (likes, comments, shares) can negatively impact your reel's reach. Try different video styles and lengths to understand what matches your audience's interest. You can also keep yourself updated on trending sound effects and music and include them in your reels.
  4. Newer accounts often struggle to gain traction; give your new account some time to build credibility.
  5. Consider collaborating with someone else in your niche to take advantage of their audience.
  6. Respond to comments in your reels to build engagement.

Where is your account based?
On your new account you should do follow/unfollow and interact with other accounts in your niche as well to increase the chance of getting follows.

Create content that user watch till end, because with initial push, if your audience is skipping it early then algorithm will not push it more in recommendation.
The algorithm always try to show what user might like depending on watch history, timing of scrolling and staying on content. If your reel is similar to some other videos that the user has watched completely or repeatedly then it will come up in recommendations. So try to set pattern and music of your videos like the most engaged ones, keep trying new patterns to reach more audience.

You should focus on your content, it is really good quality and will always attract views, which will create conversions for you.

You could have been shadowbanned. It's also possible that if your account is new, Instagram just doesn't trust you and your content yet. One more possible reason could be re-used content.

It happens to new accounts, and it takes time to catch up with those 100K you are talking about. You are also improving, just keep uploading.

Impossible to know if you don't clarify if your content is unique, if you are using proxies or VPNs, etc

what is your niche? can you share your instagram page sowe can take a look

i smell a shadowban. may i know what type of contents do you posts? maybe i can help you.

if you are repeting the same, that could be the problem, niche is so saturated that people at some point skip the video because they already saw it 10 times being the first to post the content is also important so you can be the one who get all the initeractions, also try to change a little your upload times, that some times help.
