My site is getting a bit of traffic from organic but not a lot. 56k Impressions in the last 3 months. I have info articles and affiliate articles and news. The news I create daily and gives me about 200 to 1k traffic per day if it is interesting enough, the traffic comes from social media, twitter, and forums. Should I start link building now? To boost my organic traffic? What else should I do to my site to make it grow? I already optimized my articles using rank math plugin. What else can I do to generate more organic traffic?

News are not great for promotion if they are not unique.
Create more info articles 1500-2500 words. And do research.
I would do manual linkbuilding, to be honest.
You can buy service here or somewhere else, but you can aswell get ban.
 
Hey, yes you can start your link building now because your site already receiving traffic from social media.

Build niche related backlinks that will help your site a lot.

Check the metrics and amount of traffic of the block you select to get backlinks.

Side by side, do some infographics. It will boost your traffic.
 
Check competitors backlinks, chose quality sites and start linkbuilding process. Use all free/natural ways and then pass to buing links. Play small
 
You need to build high quality niche relevant guest posts
 
Just having lots of content isn't enough, you need to build links on repetitive basis!
You should figure out how you are going to build links as they should be considered as Upvotes not Spam!

blackbeans is right. your money comes from traffic AND conversion rate!

Example:

you got 1000 visitors a day.
you make 5$ per sale

1% of them buying your stuff = 10 * 5 = 50$ / day
7% of them buying your stuff = 70 * 5 = 350$ / day

get your head around social psychology and try to bulit a list.

This is where the money is at!

I will do the skyscraper method. I am currently looking for other non paid ways to generate backlinks.

Thanks for this suggestion. I am currently studying CRO and how I can implement it to my site. Do you have any resources I can read or watch? Or is there a course available here on BHW?

Although I'm not in any way associated with Brian, I can't help but get the word out about his resources because there's so many dead ends and confusing distractions out there... especially when it comes to digital marketing.

Yes, you can start building backlinks now. But remember to focus on Quality links from relevant sites as it would prove more effective.
 
Your site is on the same boat as my latest blog. It is getting 150 - 200 visitors per day from organic traffic. A few are from pinterest and facebook. I am focusing on the skyscraper technique and it seems to be working. I got a few unsolicited links from other blogs for 2 of my skyscraper articles. Progress is slow but steady.

I am also using the skyscraper method. Is your site an affiliate site?
 
I would check my keywords, if I'm targeting the right ones of them.

I am targeting the right ones. I need to generate more impressions on all of the pages I have not just 1 or 2 pages. And I am also trying to figure out how they can move from one page and click another page.
