My Private Blog Network Guide... Do it Right or do it Twice

Hi Tommy, great guide thanks.

When managing the sites, are there any footprints to watchout for? Assuming you're not using Chrome, your IP etc cannot be tracked logging into multiple sites etc?

Lots of useful information and brushed up on a couple questions I had. Really appreciate your post, I follow your blog too!

So what? Of course if a domain got dropped a long ago then there was no site on in for a long time so G deleted it from the index. But if it has good backlinks and you build decent site on it, it almost always returns to index quickly. And if not, you just set WMT and file a reconsideration request. But for this you have to have really good site.

My own experience after registering 2k+ domains and building hundreds sites.

That's what I am saying too, with different words maybe....

I tired to point the difference between expiring and expired domains.

With expired domains, most of the time the site is wiped out of g index & if the domain is clear,it will get indexed again when you register it & put content. While with an expiring domain could still be indexed during the auction.

Alles klar?

Great Guide Tommy! You have been killing it lately, keep it up!

Question though: What are people doing for content? If you have 50 sites and do a minimum of 1 article/month. thats 50 articles/month. At $5/article thats $250/month for content and another 50-100 just for hosting....

great guide yet again, now only if you offered this as a service...........

Any chance of you building these for clients as a service?

Reach out through the blog guys.. I don't offer services here anymore. However if you've got the budget I'm all ears ;)

Footprints yeah of course, there are loads to watch out for.. all the obvious ones and then some not so obvious. But no I'm not worried about those sorts of examples you mentioned.

I'm paranoid.. probably more than most, but not to an extent where I'm changing IPs for logging into every site. I've no doubt Google has the capabilities to track anything they wish.. but I doubt they're focusing those on little old me.

Well not every article will be the infamous 500 words for $5. I use shorter articles and I post regular video and infographic style posts. Check out http://www.INeedArticles.com - this is a great site.. you can test out writers, save the ones you like and there is tons of options for quality, language, knowledge of subject and so on.

I guess where price is concerned the best way to think about this is that it's a long term investment. Done right these properties should only grow stronger and stronger each month.

How much do you invest for a PBN with 20 sites?

It's around $150 average per site for initial setup. It can be done cheaper or for more.. it really depends on you.

I count four. Nice try!

Hah thanks for pointing that out

Thanks Tommy one other question. I am confused on where you use fake name/email. Is that for your registrar information? Hosting?

Registrar - so it is showing up in your whois data. It makes sense, rather than using the same name or whois privacy on every single blog.

Something that helped me with organization tons was bseolized reverse proxy. It lets you host all of your sites on one server and use a proxy script on the webhost. That way if your cheap webhsting dies you dont have to worry about backups, just get a new host update dns and put the proxy script there and your instantly back online.

Nice work mate..Definitely helped me a LOT.
Love your work!

Thanks for answering my first question.

Question number 2!

Do you link-build towards your PBN network, or do you find content/Press R's etc are enough? If you do link build, what do you recommend strategy-wise.

Excellent guide t0mmy.

A question - I've found plenty of expired domains that are spam-free and have awesome contextual links from authority sites....e.g. Techradar, Mashable etc. However, when I check Majestic stats, the TF is always so low. Some of these crazy links show a TF and CF of 0. Any idea why this is the case?

I've got domains with almost NIL Majestic stats and ranked them in top 100 for my KW without any linkbuilding. So, I'm just wondering why people look for minimum TF15+ instead of the actual links.

One more thing - do you build any of your own links to the existing links on an expired domain to make them more powerful?

Yeah I see this a lot too. I don't actually have an answer for it. Someone well versed in domain hunting may be able to jump in with some insight. I find majestic's metrics to be a good indicator most of the time though, hence why I look at the data for it first. No one tool is going to give you everything you need.. this is why we use several and we actually dig in to investigate the domain manually rather than relying solely on metrics.

Yeah I build a small amount to each new article when it's posted.. small amounts of the usual foundation links and a sometimes a nice press release. You don't want to over do this.. but at the same time you want to maintain some level of links coming in.

Great tips. Do it right the first time to save time in the long run!

May you recommend some good PBN domain sellers?

Most of the guys dont sell NICHE related PBN domains i cant find one quality :/

Tommy, I'm curious about something. To summary buying links is not good, so we better create our own PBN. My question is ... With all the recommendations about links, how do you keep your service "safe"? Maybe I'm a little confused.

Buying links is great man, I'm not one of those dudes. It's all down to what links you're buying though. Well I don't sell services here anymore.. Speed Rank is still open but that is simply a sape brokering service. For private clients I'm concentrating on building them their own PBNs from the ground up so there is no issues there.. combining that with excellent onsite SEO, some killer guest posts and quality press releases.. then you can't go really go wrong.
