Rick it doesnt really matter how much traffic you get for PR I think all that matters is the authority of your website

May be this is a penalty by Google due to something or just because of loosing backlinks.
Start building backlinks more and more. You will get a PR next time.

same with mine, with PR0, still got huge visitor to my site every month.You still can achieved higher ranking in SERP (if less and less competitor) without much problem. Focus more on content, social network and commenting on others blog(dont spam), your site will growth naturally and then later you will see your PR will up.

Direct link your sitemap to High PR sites. Make it gradual though don't get like 50 backlinks over night yoll get flagged. Comment on High related blogs and add original content, don't forget to also tag your posts with RESEARCHED keywords that bring in traffic without competition and one night you will wake up and your blog will be at PR2,PR3,PR4 etc. etc. Rome wasn't built in a day, nor should your quality backlinking efforts. And ensure not to link to, too many low PR sites (i.e PR0) because it will suck the link juice out of your efforts.

It will happen like that only, you need to keep on working on SEO to stay with your PR and increasing, if you stopped, you will get decreased. .
