You will be lucky to scratch the service of any medical based niche with only 5-10 pages of unique content on a newish site.

Although there is a lot of low hanging fruit in the symptoms/cures/treatments area they are pretty difficult to rank in quick time as you'll be up against very respected websites.

Not impossible but you might have to do a lot more work than you've planned for, especially since Penguin.

You plan is weak. Since you are new on BHW, I suggest you read threads and information until you have a grasp of what works and what doesn't.

If anyone has any ideas on boosting natural SEO quickly with BH methods, please let me know.

Well you have come to the right place for this, now you just need to start using the search button to gather the info and start using it.. Everything on and about seo has been written here numerous times, but it will be your job to find, we are not here to spoon feed you..

And for difficult medical niches you will need a shitload of articles. Hint, find long tail keywords related to your main keyword and start focusing on those first.

I am also going after high traffic, high competition niches not with seo but by dragging the viewers to my sites on their own terms with free list building techniques. You can start with free mailchimp, free classifieds, animoto videos, free plr articles, etc... Then scale up later with paid services. Monetize with CPA and clickbank throught your free tips as faster, better alternatives to the freebies.

I lost all stomach for focusing on SEO as it has not been stable. Instead, I see seo as icing on the cake when I get it. But what do I know? Not much

Your plan sounds good but in order to get answers to most of those questions you can just search the forum. Plenty of people have asked before and been directed to previously answered topics!

Are there any seasoned BHers with a great idea but no bankroll? I'm considering doing a 50-50 profit share with someone experienced. Should be no problem once scaled up. I'm looking for someone with vision. Any takers?

5k a month is a nice goal

maybe start with a smaller goal like 1k then work up
