Thank you for actually being a noob that took action instead of asking for handouts like 97% of the other noobs. If you're going Adsense, it's all about the amount of traffic you are sending. Binary code might be a little tough, as I couldn't see a lot of advertisers with high cpc for that niche. Check out googles keyword tool for some ideas on high paying niches with good search volume. It is their advertise network, might as well listen to what they are telling you. Haha

If you're a native speaker and can write well, I think $250/month is really achievable by selling article.

I think that niche might be a bit to specific? The trick is to find a niche that is *popular* but also has low competition... I don't think your binary code idea would get lots of traffic.. Just my opinion man.

google keyword search told me the cpc for binary was 7$ so this niche is to specific? i should do something like "computer codes" or "how computers communicate"?

The thing you should keep in mind when choosing a niche is the mind set of your audience.

People who are going to a website about Binary is most likely people going to learn something, and that's all. These people are not really going to click on your ads, or want to buy something.

I am not saying making a website in Binary is wrong, but you must monetize it correctly and do proper research before actually investing your time, and money into it

these are already better keywords than "binary". Use google keyword tool to find keywords with:
1) high search volume (exact)
2) low comp
3) high CPC

4) optional: something that you can talk about quite easily. Of course you can always outsource the article writing but if you're just starting off, may as well be in something that you can talk about with a little authority or knowledge.

what are some things that make people click on the ads? i dont think anyone goes to a website to click on the ads that are there? or they think the ads are part of the website?

If people didn't click on ads.. black hatters wouldn't spend hours discussing how to cash in on that. If its still in business, it means its making money.

This is not my field really, but the main point, and the key to success in IM imo is that the people who visit your website will be interested in the ads that are displayed. This means carefully selecting your ads and driving relevant traffic to your site.

Eg. Site: "how computers communicate".. ads = ebooks or crash courses about binary or whatever.

I'm not in this field but in ecommerce, which is pretty similar, at the end of the day you are convert visitors into customers. Just make your ads appealing to the visitors and make sure your visitors will be interested in those ads.

i guess ill start with "how computers communicate" and work from there

thank you

binary code? how the fk would u monetize that? you want a good niche, find one that has keywords you can monetize and can rank easy for.
