With twitter just follow tons of people, for every 100 people you follow you'll get about 10 followers. Your competitor is not using G+ so it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to work on yours.

well mate keyword density is ok, but you should start off page seo also if u want to rank. first of all start with directories. you should register your site in every possible directory, social impact is important also, as ISAIAHV says, you make a new fb profile, start doing friends and then create a fanpage in fb and ask your friends to like (possibly share) your fanpage. making G+ and having your page in peoples circles is also important. that is what you can do by yourself. for backlings in your page , here we have alot of good seo service provider, you can always contact with some of them and buy some of theirs services to rank up good. and since big G scanning is stimated those days, you should start ASAP if you want to get some PR even if its not that important for SERP.
