That is an open question, as I know guys on expat wages here and they blow the lot every month!
Just depends on how you like to live, I go out a couple of times of week, got 2 kids in private school, nice apartment and $3k dollars a month does the trick A lot cheaper than the UK that's for sure.
As a single guy though the world is your oyster! Live like a rock star.....
