hi I know some users here made their own social network.
I want to know how did you make that.

lets say I have my own domain name, what kind of script did you install.
how did you make the social network, I want to make my own.

just like myspace, tagged, and I don't know if there are dutch people here but hyves is also a similar site.

please help me out:pcguru:

Have a look at ELGG I'm using it on a site. Very facebooky/myspacey.

You can customize your profile and add/remove widgets and move them around.

Nice system.

There are lots of platforms for social networking, do a search on "social network platform".

Elgg and onesite have great layouts,
ning is a hosted platform where you'd get yourname.ning. com site
buddypress can be installed on wordpress.

How long is a piece of string? Are you hosting video/audio on your server? Images? How many users? How many images/user?

There are way too many factors.
