I started a new channel on Youtube and am starting this Journey thread to document my ORGANIC COMMENT channel growing experience

Niche: motivation and inspiration

Video type: Human voice over with AI images

Organic Promotions method:
- Find other Youtube channels in my niche
- Find channel videos that have less than 3 existing comments
- Comment in such a way as to promote my own channel

What I won't do:
- Use SMM views
- Use SMM video likes
- Use SMM or AI video comments

Starting stats:
Subscriber and video count

Analytics

Current content engagement stats

Will post my updates on

- comment volume
- comment style
- comment channel selection methods
- alternative promotions (crowdsourcing?)
- tweaks to content

Wish me luck and ........... HERE WE GO!

i'd be interested to see how far you can go with this! whatkind of videos have you done so far? shorts or regular videos?

What is the niche of the channel? How much revenue is your target?

How many channels you already own ? You already started getting views and subscribers and this I assumed that you already have active channels.

Good luck)

So you are not automating the commenting, right? Doing it by hand?
1000%
Responsive
ACTUALLY watch the video - give the good, the bad, the ugly, engage BOTH the video creator (channel owner) and WHOEVER ELSE is reading my comment

I have just read somewhere that YT will not monetize slideshows with voice.
They want to see videoclips in video.

Good luck anyway. Will keep eye on the thread.

This was the 2nd sentence of his post "Niche: motivation and inspiration" :D

- Comment in such a way as to promote my own channel
Are you going to comment to attract interest and make them potentially look at your channel out of curiosity or is it going to be a more blatant way such as "Come check out my channel for more motivational stuff" ?

Are you considering promoting your channel on other social media platforms outside of YT?

Anyhow, best of luck on your journey! ;)

I first TALK ABOUT their channel and the video that I'm commenting on

Why?

This lets the Channel owner know and the viewers of the video know that I actually viewed the video

I have "skin in the game" so to speak

Then I draw parallels between the video and my own content

I also throw in a QUESTION to engage the reader.

Are you considering promoting your channel on other social media platforms outside of YT?
Yes, once I have over 20 videos up, I'll be hitting the following:
- Reddit
- Pinterest
- Twitter
- Facebook groups

One thing I'll be experimenting with is a PERSONAL STORY approach to comments
- the channel owner gets an on topic story
- I get eyeballs on my comments and my comments' clickable user name
Let's see how this goes.

Pretty interesting journey don’t give up even if it slows down with YouTube you really never know.
Yeah, I CAME INTO THIS PROJECT EXPECTING things to be slow

I want to build an actual REAL following :)

Fully organic
Next initiative:
Organic Social media sharing

This is so interesting and encouraging me. I have similar channel but finding it difficult to grow the watch hour and views. Can you help on how you create the contents?
I'm not sure my niche strategy will fit your niche but I noticed that THUMBNAILS' engagement appeal counts for a lot

It preps the viewer regarding what to expect and what to assume about the content
