My opinion on why you cannot get guest posts

i have recently started this method https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-this-little-trick-makes-me-extra-300-500-a-month.1059723/ from @Topiano (thanks mate) and i get a ton of emails for guest posts.

And you know what is the main problem for almost all of the emails?

It's all the same!

I do not know where everyone gets the same copy text but the only thing that changes is the name!

And everyone is an avid reader of my blog! Avid reader my ass!

I would respect much more a genuine email even if it was two sentences than this copy paste thing.

So when you are requesting a guest post add some originality.

I am sure you will get much better results.

You are perfectly right.
This is a big problem for a lot of people from IM.
Everyone thinks that copy/paste (as guru teach them) is the best way to get results and they don't even think to add some value.
Is hard to make them do otherwise.

Well, It's a major problem with lots of copy-pasters. Well, try making them commit by responding.

I have this popular phrase saved on my response note: " Yes please, I'm interested. " The first series of mail are automated whichI'm sure they prolly using this approach shared by a member here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-automating-your-guest-post-outreach.1116597/#post-12016822

A real individual follows up after your first response - That makes it easier for you to have them converted.

Write a guest post email is not easy for me who English is not the primary language. So do you have any advise? Should I need to hire a VA to find and send the email?

A VA is definitely not the solution cause he will use the same copy-paste.

I would prefer a more honest and direct email like:

"Hello,
my name is [name] and i am the admin of [blog name].
I came across your blog while looking for guest post opportunities. I suppose you get a ton of emails so i will get straight to the point.

Do you accept guest posts? What are the requirements? Cost?

Thank you in advance.

[Name]"

Something like that...

Rule 1: Authors must have a track record of writing great content
Rule 2: Watch outgoing links
Rule 3: The content must be detailed and unique
Rule 4: Be picky
Rule 5: Don’t give out author accounts
Rule 6: You need to fully own the content
Rule 7: Authors need to help build and support your community.

Hire a writer but instead of asking for just 1email template producing, ask for 3 or 4 additional variations. That way you can mix up what you send out.

A good writer will offer suggestions to you.

I personally don't think much of it. When it comes to it, all they want in the end, is a link. No matter how beautiful or crap their email is. They want the same thing. There are other aspects that matter more, such as:

People are saying that outreach it tough and results are naar to 2-3% success rate.

I was myself afraid of doing guest posts because of myth spread by everyone.

But, recently i was required to do it any case. It was like do or die situation for my site. So, I thought what should i do? First thought was to go to fb and look for some sellers who provides guest posts. Which I cancelled because issue was each and every site was having almost all previous posts as guest posts. It means they were spammed to the death.

So, next plan was to do manual outreach.
First thing, I always keep plan A & B both ready. Hence, decided to work on both.

Plan A was to type any word related to my niche on google and to find some broadly relevant sites that are not my direct competitors. Collected contact details from contact us or about us page.

Plan B was to use "writer for us" + kw and to find some sites who are accepting guest posts. Collected contact details from write for us page itself.

However, execution of both plans was going to be different from each other. And to check success rate and then was planning stick to one which one goes well.

On sites of Plan A - A manually written mail. With some ideas that could fit well on their site and I told them about link at last.

On sites of Plan B - A template which I found from a friend. A straight forward request for link by asking them their rates.

Success rates for Plan A - 4/5 & for Plan B - 2/5

Plan A takes time in execution but chances of free links and good response rates are high. And, currently following the same.

Then, your VA is shit.
Hire outreach specialists for this job. Someone who isn't afraid to even pick up the phone and call.
And sure, a personalized approach will yield better results but ask yourself the question: Is there a ROI in my actions or not? You won't have the time to handcraft thousands of emails for every little site you come across.
