My One Month Old Site Not Ranking in Google

Hi to all,


My URL is:


My site is fairly new and have 15 pages in total. I'd choose a keyword which is low competitive and and in domain name. My home page have internal and external links. I have followed all on-page optimization techniques but still my site is in 500+ search results in Google and 64 in Bing.


My webmaster tools not showing indexed pages in Google but it is indexed. I don't know how it is possible.


And also If I change my URL structure does it affect my ranking?


Could someone help me on how to solve this ranking problem? I've been trying to hard to find what went wrong. It would be great help if someone specify whats the problem with me site.

build some links and if you want to improve those amazon conversions remove those links to wiki etc in the first paragraph .

Better to remove now your link to your site it`s friendly advise,csuse it is against the rules of this forum.

You're not gonna rank for even longer if you leave that link sitting there.

You're following Google's guidelines - thats the problem.

I see the problem: Your site has no inner pages, all the articles are on one page.

Without social signals you have to wait about 10 months to get awarded the value of your backlinks... Google thinks you'll quit in less than ten months...

Just don't give up.

Having only 1 page is a problem.

Exact match for target search term relevance.

Build some good quality backlinks to your website. Make a facebook fanpage and promote him there as well as on you youtube. Also try to rank him for long tail keywords then move to your own keywords.

Try to Promote via "Content Marketing" Strategy. You'll get referral backlinks. And more thing you 'll engage with Social Media. Sure 'll get referral visitors also., Try it.. Cheers

That is such bad advice.

He is trying to rank for "best curling iron" . We are not in 2012 anymore. His url is fine. PMD is a lot safer than EMD and works perfectly fine. His title does not have to be the exact keyword (although he could reposition it to be at the front). Also, meta description has no effect on his ranking, it does affect his CTR though.

Please stop spreading misinformation. It doesn't help the newbies out at all.

And to the OP: Did you recently change your permalink structure? Your site is redirecting to the www version, but you only have the homepage indexed for the non www version.

Your site is also going to need a few real backlinks to give google a reason to consider your site. So far, all I see are whois type links which don't really carry any link juice.

That's because your site is being indexed for both www and non-www versions (with homepage only showing up for non-www). If you've already fixed this problem, you need to give google some time to recrawl and re-evaluate this change.

Another thing is, your content is being duplicated on site a few times. You have it showing in category, tag, and date archives but you only have noindex/follow on the category pages.

If you're showing the full post instead of an excerpt, you want to noindex/follow them.

Your site is a hot mess right now and I only took a quick look at it.

Have you checked your site in wayback machine? Sometimes site can have negative history from the past life (someone registered it, built crappy links, got kicked out of index because if it and dropped it).
Then you bought what you thought was a new site, but actually it wasn't... This has happened to me and it was a reason why a site with a good content would never get indexed - simply it was penalized in previous life and carried it's penalty.

You need some more powerful links for high PR domains.

I rank #1 for so many keywords your head would spin. Want proof of empirical methods? PM me and I'll send you to my blog... My advice is rock solid. Use it or don't.

Get links from high PR website, some social signals, add more pages and you will start seeing results

I have tried to remove the website but not able to. Could you please let me know how to remove it?

I have 12 other inner pages which are reviews of each 800-1000 words.

Because of google's emd update, I avoided exact match domains.
