I was a normal day for me, working IM sit on my chair for couple of hours eat and work again, its like this for the past 2 years.

on the evening it's almost 4am already still awake (btw, i sleep from 3am-5am and wake up at 12pm-2pm) playing my favorite games on my android phone, all of the sudden i felt my heart pounding very fast and I am like at any moment will lose my consciousness, i felt like drowning, and my breathing are short.. I panicked!!!! I hurriedly woken up my wife on my side and told her what I am feeling...

I panicked very much and left our room quickly and walked outside the house... i felt like having a long run, my knees are weaken and still my breaths are short... I don't understand what i am feeling, my heart is still palpitating very hard, my hands are very cold.. all i thought was am i gonna die????

my wife rushed me to a hospital and which is almost 2km away from home, during the ride i felt okay and when we arrived the doctor checked up my blood pressure level, oxygen level, and told me everything was NORMAL!!!!!

we are not convinced and we decided to travel on the nearest big city (40 minutes plane ride) and take an total cardiovascular checkup on a good hospital scheduled 3 days from now.. we don't know yet if i would undergo any surgery or any medication to maintain.. I was just expecting the worse...

lesson for me...

don't work so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are working hard and pushing yourself too much and yes you are making money yet you will spend that money to hospital because your body was totally fcked up...

I guess doctor is right you are normal... You have a term known as ANXIETY

Don't sit too much, take a break and do some stretching and exercises everyday

It is what is known as a panic attack.

I read what is panic attack and it's like it is!!!! ill still see a good doctor for this... i also read that it is serious...

thanks though, i was thinking i recognize what is this and felt me a little comfortable knowing it...

after what happened I am doing it and will do it everyday...... funny that i need to learn my lesson first.

Yah, Panic attacks really suck. Scary stuff when it happens. Figure out why its happening and change what your doing to make them stop.

Yeah, sometimes low seratonin can do this, you may need a SSRI drug to help you out, or you may be fine. It also sounds like it could have been a heart attack, but the problem is symtoms are similar and they can do a workup and determine if you are having a heart attack or not and or if you likely did. I had it done once, the full gamit, turned out to be anxiety. ER docs told me 90% of all people that come in with chest pain is just anxiety.

Lack of contact with people is a big issue too. When you get stressed out your body releases cortisol, which is helpful, but too much damages your muscles and causes unneeded inflammation. You can fix that damage with a chemical that I forget the name of, but starts with an L (sorry). They way you get that chemical you ask? Your body makes it, when you spend time with other people. So hang out, have a good time, be with people, and it heals you. No Im not just making it up. lol

Sounds like a panic attack. Well this was going to happen as you were working like a machine.

much of stress that give you panic attack, avoid what could stress you

Terrifying to say the least, I remember having them often. Happy to hear you're alright man.
I remember waking up one time and literally felt numb and my heart was beating so fast it felt like the bed was shaking, I honestly thought I was a spirit and died.

Doesn't help that I hallucinate when waking up sometimes.

Whatever it is, you took the right step in getting a second opinion from a specialized doctor. I hope everything shows fine in your reports. Take care.

You are taking three hour naps in the middle of the day, waking up to play video games on your phone and you are working too hard ?

Brother you need to walk in my shoes. its 8.20 Ive been up since 4.00 and now im going on a 300 mile buying trip. And I dont feel like I work hard at all.

Let me guess - you drink gallons of coffee, smoke, and don't get enough sleep.

Same happened to me, it's your body telling you to start getting proper sleep at normal times, stop drinking so much caffeine, and cut down on the 40 per day you're smoking.
