Hey guys,

I had some trouble with my last post so here is my business model.

1) Create a Facebook, Google AdWords, or any type of ad stating something like "Take our Free 30 Question Survey and go on a Complimentary Vacation!"

The landing page that this ad will redirect to will be one similar to the image I have attached here. Essentially, it is just a site that entices the customer to take the survey and go on their free vacation.

I had 85% of people who got to the site filling out the survey.

After they complete the survey (random Survey Gizmo survey you create or a survey affiliated with a network) they are redirected to a checkout page.

This page thanks them for taking the survey, and offers them a Complimentary Vacation

IMPORTANT NOTE: The complimentary vacations are 100$ real vacation certificates that are facilitated through a travel company. Type in Vacation Incentives on Google and you can find a ton of different companies who broker these vacation certificates.

This is where the trick is....

The companies providing these certificates get them for dirt cheap! That is because they have made partnerships with hotels and vacation resorts to fill their empty rooms on the down times of travel.

The off-peak travel times are one of 3 downsides to these certificates.

1) off-peak traveling time, low selection
2) $50 refundable deposit among certificate activation if not used within a year of activation (this is charged by the company you get the certificates from, that has websites and travel agents working to book this certificate for the certificate user).
3) Small taxes each night $3-$15 to be incurred by the traveler.

These are the ONLY things that make these vacation certificates different then you going online and booking yourself.

The Cost of the Campaign:
The vacation certificates, often a 3-day stay at some type of resort go for about 5 to 8 dollars each. The problem is, you need to make a minimum order of about 1000-5000 certificates to even get your hands on them.
However, I did find a good source that will let you buy them one at a time (you become a member for like $50 or something) and then they dropship the certificates for you. IMO that's the way to go.

So back to my business plan, once the user fills out the survey, they are brought to a checkout page where they can pay a small shipping and handling fee to receive their complimentary vacation certificate (I charged $14.99)

During my first day running this campaign I got 30% of people to pay the shipping and handling fee. The best thing is, once you ship them the certificate, you are done! The travel company providing the certificate deals with booking the vacation, as well as any customer service issues.

Since then, I haven't looked back. And I started to branch out with these certificates. I have used them to secretly obtain affiliate signups through referer guardian and have currently made the shipping price only $1.99, offering the users a free trial of a vacation club website, in which I slowly unleash vacation certificates each month to my members.

It has not been a simple breeze, but once I tweaked the different ideas and brought things together, this business has been very profitable.

I know there is a huge market for these online and figured I should give back here for all the help you guys have been.

Let me know if you guys have any questions, ideas, or suggestions.

Ok,

I'll be a good boy and play the part of the RUBE for you and ask the question:

What's the name of the company that sells the certificates and charges the

$50 membership fee (Or should I say, the true reason you started this thread)

I mean really, I like a good presell as much as the next marketer, but next

time don't be so blatant.....it's insulting.

I assume you are affiliated with this company. And I also assume that you are going to post a link to that site. Before you do this... Please note that you have to post the regular sign-up page in addition to the sign-up page with your affiliate link.

well first thanks

the certificates have been around for along time business and telemarketers have been using for the last 10yrs and i used them . But never thought to use them with cpa offers
here is a good place to get them [http://www.almostfreetravel.com/]

LHaskins easy there buddy. There are hundreds of places to get certificates like I mentioned online, and I am surely not going to rely on commissions from a travel company to feed my kids this month. I am making some good money using them though, and would love any ideas or expansions on the use of them.

I am a member of the website (no affiliate link but it wont let me post?)

myconversionconfidence

but am not trying to and will not be making any affiliate money from them. I would have never even gotten into this stuff if it wasn't for the help here on this forum, so I hope I can do the same for someone else in getting them off on the right foot.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

So, what you do is tell them to complete CPA offers and as an incentive you give to them gift certificates for FREE(excluding the shipping)?
Very good idea and a powerful incentive to give out!

You can also use incentive CPA offers instead of non-incentive sign-ups with referer guardian, because it's completely legit!

Btw, I'm asking as a normal user(because I love travelling:D), if I get one of these certificates how much money do I have to pay in order to travel to a destination, and for how many days can I stay there?

Pretty good twist, never heard of those certificates till now, thnx a lot!

In the past I have used PayPal for the shipping fee, but anything would work. ThunderElvi, great ideas man, I have tried many different types of CPA offers and have had no trouble at all when masking the links with referer guardian.

As far as the incentive companies go, AlmostFreeTravel is a good one, however I did not like the quality of their certificates as much as some of the others. There really are a ton of travel incentive companies out there, some are scams, most are legit. It is all about testing the company out and making sure they do business the way you want it to be ran. For me, I don't want to have to deal with shipping, coming up with ads, or anything like that, so to pay $10 a month and have that all taken care of was a no brainer.

Also, I don't know if I mentioned before but here is a simple twist on my step-by-step plan that has really created some big profits. It is a bit deceitful, but I am sure none of you will feel obliged to stay away :).

TWIST:

This involves just some simple website building work but essentially could be done overnight.

1) After your customer takes the survey and they get to the redemption page, offer the shipment of the certificate for only $2.00. Have a checkbox to "take a free trial of our VIP Survey Vacation Club, and receive another complimentary vacation on us! This membership site you pitch to them: as a member you get a new vacation for every 10 surveys you complete, or however you want to spin it. This is all based on the hope that the trial you offer them will bill at $79 or whatever price when they pay to cancel.

For the membership site, all you need to do is build a simple site linked in to a survey building site (i recommend survey gizmo) where users can log in, see available surveys, take however many are required, and then once the requirement is hit, they are taken to a page where they can redeem their vacation all over again!

Of course, instead of surveys, you could simply have people filling out offers for the vacations.

ThunderElvi: Sorry I completely passed over your question. As an avid traveler myself I have tried a few of them and can tell you based on my experience. Each certificate is unique and has different fees. The cruise certs are the worst, because you get charged a $50-$100 port fee at each port. The best ones are usually something like a 3-5 night stay at a resort destination somewhere like Orlando FL, where you only pay the refundable deposit, and then a $3-$15 tax per night. The second most popular are the free flight certs which where as long as you book a 5-7 day stay at one of the supported travel agencies resorts, then your two tickets are completely free. The only bad thing about this is that the flights are usually the least desirable traveling times and such. I personally thinks its more of a hassle to go through all of that, but hey, to each his own.

Thnx a lot for your answers, btw that other twist of yours is very well thought, but 1 question why surveys??? I personally hate them, they take too damn long to complete and are boring, better give them incentive offers to complete and you make double the money!

That's a great idea, but how would you do that?

Is it possible to send someone to a CPA end then redirect them to your own site when the CPA is complete?

*Pretty new to all this stuff :)

I guess I just thought surveys were the easiest. Here are a few screenshots of the sites I have used in the past. The landing page is for a Vegas vacation but the redemption page was for a tropical one

Well I don't send anyone anything manually. Once they submit the PayPal order, you provide them with a link to the Travel Redemption site where they fill out their info and the certificate gets dropshipped. I uploaded an image picture of the place I use. All it really takes is a website, some ad copy, and a few surveys.

Interesting... Is this your site?
How do one login after purchase?

Yea man, pretty cool right? You get a link to the membership site when you sign up.
