It's a live web cam in Africa. The web cam is positioned at a watering hole, so all the animals go to it sooner or later. Right now there is an elephant drinking water. The background noise is very relaxing. At night the sounds are incredible. High quality camera moves and zooms, and there's a light on it at night. http://www.elecam.org

I love this one because the animals live in their natural habitat. A lion can kill an antelope and no one will step in to stop it. It's the natural flow of nature, the way it's supposed to be.

That's a great webcam.

Did you notice the watermark on the feed? It's a great name for a webcam site - africam

That site has several other live feeds too - http://www.africam.com

It also got me thinking about other similar names and if anyone is interested, all the following domains are available:

costaricam.com
southafricam.com

OH MY GOD!

I just saw some.... WIND MOVE A TREE.

Swear to god. It was an African tree and African wind. I waited 16 minutes staring at my screen just to see it and you couldn't see the wind but you could definitely see the branches on the tree moving. It happened for just a second and if my eyes weren't glued to the screen I would have surely missed that beautiful moment in history.

In all seriousness though I feel like this is a troll thread.

The least they can do is dress men up in barefoot suits and have them walk in the background of the screen. Just to screw with peoples heads.

It's not a troll thread. There are animals all the time on the webcam. I've seen elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelope, beautiful birds, and wildebeest so far. They come by every day at different times. The elephants are usually there in the morning in herds. The only ones I haven't seen yet are monkeys and buffalo.

Haha. I'm watching right now and see 6 elephants hanging around the water! 1 elephant got upset over something and charged / pushed another one towards the water. Then the other elephant just walked out of screen.

This is pretty cool once you learn the schedule of the animals.

What I'd really love to see are some lions. If anyone knows of any lion cams feel free to drop a link. :)

i like to see nature as it was earlier before the technology take over it.

a look into the nature makes me happy because it was same 5000 years ago too.

i watched 2 elephants near to Pond :)

When the camera moves all the way to the right, you will see a lot of big holes. Keep watching because the lions are inside the holes. They hide and wait for the elephants to leave the water so they can go after the antelope. You will know when the lions are near. The birds make a specific call. It's like a danger alert. I knew the exact call because where I used to live, the birds made that same call every time a fox was in the neighborhood. I would look out my window when I heard the bird sounds, and sure enough, a fox would always run by.

Nobody else noticed the link at the bottom of the page? Minion rush hacks. hmm..
