My motivation is over, I quit

Generally a lot of ppl in these kinda threads -especially noobs dreaming big- give the usual, trite "canned" suggestions. I try to always look at things differently and sometimes you just need to quit to clear you head, see what's up IRL and have a deeper perspective to evaluate things in the future. IM is an EXTREMELY tough area to make a living and as they say the Pareto principle seems to apply to it as well. So take a break if this is what you feel like doing: chances are it'll be more helpful than most other approaches. HTH!

stick with one mehtod... you can deffiently PULL more than 1k a month just buying on craigslist and re-selling on ebay.... if you can't do that You just fail... like in school F- and dont care.

If your dentist sites have good PR then you can sell links on it to any medical site, or you can sell blog post for any medical site, there are many people here dealing health related niche and love to buy such links. Just make an attractive signature line and participate in discussions here. Don't go for PM spamming :)

I cant pm yet but It would be great if someone could motivate me and help me to grow some nuts and help me to right direction

First off I just want to say that threads like this shouldn't be made. If you're going to quit then quit making a thread documenting all your failure is just going to discourage others

I think discouraging people from most of the stuff he was doing is a public service, and I wish more people would be honest about what a waste of time things like ewhoring and yt spamming is. OP probably could have had decent success with Adsense blogging and videos.

Quit its not an option for me
go to flip burgers bro
im its not for everyone

I know how you feel mate. I've been here almost a year now and I still have'nt made anything significant. But I know for the knowledge I now have from all the action I've taken that soon I will succeed.
Don't quit man, keep trying.
Take a different approach, maybe write some articles for a while?

for the dentist site i would put a Google number and trace how many calls are coming in a week... if its a good amount contact a dentist and let them try out the site for free 30 days and trace all calls going to them..sometimes you have to let the person see the value in it before trying to sell anything..if they get clients from the site trust me they will be interested in doing businesses with you...you can make a percent per sale (no upfront cost to them), you can sell per lead,do a monthly fee or just sell the whole website to them..

How many times did you give up before you succeeded?

The dentist siite was a winner if it was drawing traffic. All you had to do was use a virtual number and forward it to a local dentist, then after a few weeks call him up with the call logs and explain to him that any phone number on your logs came from your site. A simple check of his customers phone numbers against this list would have told him how many paying customers you sent him.

He would have bought or rented the site if there was money to be made.

On your oyther ventures did you track everything? Did you look at the landing pages and tweak them to increase conversions? Did you try different traffic sources to get the conversions you need? Did you do research into similar sites and determine where they get their traffic, or look at their landing pages? Did you create your own landing pages or use the clickbank landing ages for the products?

Or did you do like so many, built it as best as you can, then expect it to make money automatically and go on to another shiny object to try to make the money when it didn't? Did you ever determine in one single case what the problem was, or just abandon it as "not working"?

The only difference between you and a successful IMer is they did not give up.

I know someone who is making some decent cash from doing im in their native language.

What's your native tongue? Maybe there are some better prospects there?

I wanted to give up in so many occasions for the past six months, but since Christmas it's been wonderful. Made About 250$ pure profit online, and it's just getting better.
Just do what you enjoy, and scale it up - I couldn't do ewhoring nor go around forums and post some stupid shit.
If you really want it, you will do it.
So get some coffee and figure out what you would enjoy doing. (watching porn or series does not count haha )

although i hate these types of threads because it always falls down to the same thing "method-quit-next-quit-next-quit"
"I made adsense blogs and updated those every day something like 6 months" this is the easiest way to make money of a site it requires no product research, landing pages, split testing etc.
so explain what you did, keyword volumes, rankings, etc and i and no doubt many other members will help you.

I made review sites about 30-60 gravity CB products and rank them in 1 page google and send targeted traffic to those sites = In 3 Months 1 sale ( of course buyer refund it )
I made unique quality review videos to youtube about CB products and rank them 1 page in youtube = In 2 Months 0 sale

I laughed so hard at the refund idk why.. I was just planning on doing this even made awesome video templates but you have deterred me =|...

i think it will be getting more and more of this because ist getting harder and harder to make money.
and to be seriouse if you work 3 jears and earn 50 $ whats the point ... go and enjoy life. Life it to short to work for this output does not make sense.
i dont like to be mean but if you tried a lot and if nothing works ???

but i am wondering..if you are here for 3 jears and just have 11 posts ?????? why not asking bevor you get demotivated completely. nowbody will show you the golden way to make a lot tomorrow but you get tipps and help here.

anyway wish you the best ... whatever your decision is.
if you liek to make some money finishing maybe i am interested to buy your accounts just to see what is going on there .
shoot me a pm

The problem is you're doing IM broke to begin with? How are you going to invest in the tools you need to promote. $200 spent in fiverr gigs, throwing mud at the wall seeing what will stick ... if thats the most you've put in, you're not going to get much out of it.

Better off to come up with a solid plan for IM, get a job and fund that solid plan with a conventional job until the money from IM is more than the money from your job.

Fiver isn't any good for T1 links unless you know how to choose a really good gig. And for sites you probably do not vary anchor text as much as you should. Anchor text problem is probably the most significant problem in IM I guess that 90% sites loose rankings not because of low quality link but because of anchor text variation. I am not exactly an expert, but this man is http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...anchor-text-profiles-post-penguin-videos.html.

You've wasted $200 on fiverr while you could've bough few tools that could've made you couple x,xxx on fiverr selling services using those tools...
Either way people learn from their mistakes. What you do with what you've learned is up to you. Throw it away or use it and improve it.

Best of luck

I do feel for people who get completely fed up and quit. Been there myself.

But I think these threads are mostly last ditch attempts to get someone to hold their hand and walk them through an easy money making scheme out of sympathy.

It seems to me that your biggest problem (like some posters have already stated) is that you've been running from method to method. You haven't tried anything long enough. You only did ewhoring and adfly for a weeks? Only promoted on FB for 2 months? Dude, that's not enough time.

Stop jumping around from method to method and pick one, just one. The methods you've listed might not be the best, but they are profitable. And if the method isn't working after a few weeks or a month, don't stop. Tweak it. Dombyran973 and Techxan gave you two tweaks you can use on your dentist site and here's another: You pitched your site to the local dentists in the area and no one wanted it. So sell the leads. Or join a few CPA networks and promote anything related to dental (teeth whitening for example) on your site. If you were able to rank a site #1 on Google, there is a way to profit from it.

But you've gotta stop chasing method after method and giving up after you've only put a few weeks or a month into it. Some of the biggest players in IM didn't start to see a profit until YEARS after they started.

Here's the bottom line: Internet marketing (or business in general) isn't for everyone. Need a steady paycheck? This isn't for you. Don't want to constantly learn about different strategies like PPC of PPV? This isn't for you. Don't want to adapt at the drop of a dime due to an algorithm or a policy change? This isn't for you. Don't want to work 2 days straight staring at a computer screen testing, tweaking, researching keywords, etc.? Then this definitely isn't for you.

So maybe you do need to take a step back and re-evaluate what it really is you want out of Internet Marketing, if you want anything from it at all. But you also need to realize that we're all going to get discouraged from time to time, that's normal. But what separates the winners from the losers it that the losers quit; but the winners only see it as a setback and they dust themselves off and try again. So...which one are you?

"Don't cry to quit. You're already in pain, you're already hurting. You might as well get a reward from it." - Eric Thomas
