Hello Guys and Girls, i hope you are all doing good!
This journey is set up to help keep me focused more than anything else.
A little about me:
39 year old dad of four. Worked since leaving school, dabbled a little here and there with affiliate sites over the years and made a few $$$ but thats about it. Although i own quite a few domain names i am not interested in creating affiliate sites going forward.
Journey Goals:
It's really simple, Create a side hustle that can allow me and the family to enjoy life a little more without relying so much on the daily grind.
The journey:
1. Youtube
My children love gaming and one of my sons is quite highly ranked (in the world) on a popular game. He isnt interested in making youtube videos but ive talked him into recording his game play and allowing me to publish it.
He has quite a lot of video clips saved currently from the past, and will create more going forward. Thanks Son!
My plan is to stitch short clips together of "best bits", "full matches" etc. I am aiming to upload 1 video per day and see how it goes over a period of the next year.
Obviously with each video i launch i will be learning and improving things so this should be fun. Also its not going to cost me anything or take much of my time to do.
2. Domains
I have a portfolio of domains which include both .co.uk & .com which i have built up over a number of years. Although i'm not actively catching many domains these days i do still keep one eye on the ball.
I sell the odd domain here and there so will also update on this.
3. Crypto
At the time of writing this post my crypto portfolio is worth $19,240
I will continue to invest and grow my bags during this journey. I will also include updates on its value as it goes up or down (hopefully up lol)

4. Etsy Business/Website
My wife runs a very successful etsy business which she has built up over the last 2 years. Seeing her build this from nothing to very good daily earnings has made me want to build something big for my self.
Already own some good pieces of kit which include
3d printer
laser engraver - Thinking of upgrading to an industrial co2 powered laser from my diode laser in the near future
vinyl cutter (cricut)
I have lots of ideas for unique items that i want to get started with but at the same time do not want to rush things and instead rather create a solid plan and make this a success.
Currently spend some spare time learning BLENDER which is important so i can create my own designs for 3d printing and also laser cutting.
I have around $4,000 spare which i can put into this startup if i need to, but would rather work with the tools i have and upgrade at a later stage.
I currently have a great brandable domain which i am VERY happy with. Fits the business perfectly!
Kicking Off
Yesterday i set up the youtube channel. The youtube account is more than 10 years old so i had some videos on it with subscribers. The videos were all MISC stuff, some had 50k views. Because i want the content of this to be niche related i set all old videos to private.
Picked a cool brandable handle for it.
