This is my method. It looks like I'm doing everything right so far. I'd appreciate some pointers if you guys get around to it as my traffic is low for the moment.

1. Find a product on Click Bank to advertise (not disclosing said product)

2. Build a landing page for the product.

3.Advertise the product through RSS Feeds, Google Ad Word etc.

Am I doing it right? So far one person has viewed my advertisement and I've sent the RSS feed to around 15 networks.

Am I expecting too much at the moment?

There are lot of methods/ways to generate traffic to your site, like Youtube/social media marketing. Search in Making Money /IM Journey section , you will end up with lots of information about driving traffic and conversion, All the best.
 
You can not use your affiliate link with AdWords.
If you put iframe on your own domain, maybe it'll work.
 
Be safe while promoting with adwords. Make sure you put up a site policy and T & C and don't promote something which is scam. I am essentially doing the same thing these days without the CPC though. Good luck.
 
RSS feeds won't get you sales.

However, adwords will if you know what you're doing.
 
social media will help alot with driving traffic
