You can google noobsandnerds or community portal for premade builds. Ares Wizard addon has same thing, hundreds of builds you can use from. Builds are customized versions of KODI with addons installed so it works out of the box so to speak.

alright thank a lot, I am doing a bit of research and I see that to use Amazon fire stick you need to use a VPN
 
sorry I forget to mention, to use the Amazon Fire Stick outside the US

yes I think is true, for who live outside the US or main Western Countries, if you can tap in the expat community of your country/city you should be able to bank too

Go more depth into xbmc, you can setup your own server and just sell users any xbmc box cheaper than Fire TV (AZ play for example), and you could charge them monthly instead of one time payment.
 
No need to just use an Amazon fire stick.. any android box will do.. you can install kodi on an android box just the same. I have an android box and a skybox f5s dodgy box (cracked sky box). For live tv there's nothing better that the dodgy box, but there are plenty of better alternatives than Kodi. Movie HD and UKTVNOW are just two examples of android apps that are better quality.

How would anyone fall for that? They wouldn't pay privately to someone, when it's obvious that they don't own the service
 
$20 a month sounds more pleasing than $100+ for their cable or tv bill. Also I know a guy who is doing this. Seems to be something you can sell them on, lower price for the product, then bill them monthly with paypal or something. It's not that hard to set up a site man.
 
I saw a guy selling these at the flea market and actually considered buying one before I figured out how to do it myself. Definitely some potential to make money here.
 
Nice to see this work, but can it work in the long run? Can you expect to make this money, say, 2-3 years from today?
 
why are you people making a fuss over kodi like it is some sort of science....every kid in my country knows about kodi and tvmc which has all the addons preinstalled...you would not sell even one piece here

The point is not to sell it here, but give people a chance to sell it in person
 
I have a firestick.. but i havent done this as of yet.. But I guess I should.. seeing all the stuff you can get for free..

where? i live in a third world country and as i said before, even kids know about it...nobody would ever buy $40 device for more money just because it has kodi which is free
