I've got a video that probably isn't actually "viral" but it's going on 500k totally legit views. Anyway, this vid gets between 3k - 8k views each and everyday. I've noticed its been slowing gaining steam like a snowball rolling down a mountain.

I'm wondering how many of you guys have videos with a million or more views? Does traffic continue to gain speed as the views increase?

Definitely depends on the kind of video. I had one going insanely viral after a little initial push, now is getting like 10k views/day but for some days it has got 100k-200k/day. It was a trending topic, and in this case YT tends to give a boost to newer videos, rotating the SERPs often.

What kind of video is it yours? I bet you are getting tons of related/suggested video views and fewer views from searches.

like i was told by some jerk on the internet a viral vide is a video that gets in million of views but your getting pretty decent flow of views

It's like word of mouth, but online it comes across as "activity" that other people see. That's how it spreads.
