MY journey to... anything

I've always made wordpress sites and slapped an adsense account on there when I was younger and hopped I'd get some money. I never really looked into SEO or even knew about it. Well, now that I am much older I decided to take a more mature look at it. I've been a full time student and full time worker for the last 4 years now. I live paycheck to paycheck and hardly have any money to spend on myself after tuition. After searching the web for how to make money online I noticed I kept coming across BHW. Eventually, I decided to make an account. I read thread after thread and tried to pick what method would work the best for me. I figured I would go with posting articles, backlinking, and CCP. Well... that didn't really pan out so I moved over to affiliate marketing. I decided to try the launch jacking method. I ended up getting my website listed on #1 spot on Google for many of the keywords related to the product. Come launch day I didn't make a single sale. At the end of the sale there were over 20 people with 500+ sales, I didn't make a single say even though I as #1.

At this point I have no idea what to do. I don't want to give up because I know there is a ton of money to be made. I want to do something that is easier to understand but will still make me a few bucks. At this point I would be happy with $25 in my pocket. I just want to gradually get into it more advanced methods after I learn the ropes.

Anyways, this is the first part of my journey. I hope some of you who are making some serious bank will have some advice for me and maybe even show me some of the basic methods anyone can succeed at.

Hey man... I am in the same boat as you are. Have had a few projects but no luck salewise. Hopefully we will get wiser soon.

I hope so... I had a really good idea come to me last night while I was falling asleep so I hope to give it a shot. Anyone know of some good macro/script software out there?

Update - So over the last day or so I have had a ton of ideas running through my head. After messing with a few programs/scripts to get something I was interested I stopped and thought, how many people would want the same thing I am trying to do right now. So, I think I have a new niche I am going to try and tap into. I'm thinking about using fiverr as a starting point to bring in some promotion but I have yet to have success with Fiverr yet so I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. Hopefully, I will be on my way to making my first $ online. Stay tuned...

Update - I worked on those few ideas and realized they were not worth the amount of time I was putting in. I jumped over to a old wordpress blog I had and made it look more legit. I also got into the PPD game. After spending a day of work I went to sleep. When I woke up I realized that I made my FIRST DOLLAR!!! Well... kind of.. it was 90 cents. But, that is awesome for me. I only had 16 views, 5 clicks, and 2 downloads. Now that I saw near instant results I am going to scale up this method even higher. I can't wait to see my first day in the double digits. Stay tuned
