I'm 26Yo, living in France (sorry for my english) and following BHW since 2011 but never took real actions until now, it's time to begin and rule the world
I'll begin with a reasonable goal : 100$ / month and I'll look for more when it's done.
There's my story :
I built a blog on 05/11/2013 and got >250 visits on the first day.
Kind of a micro niche, using an hot topic and explaining the scams behind a new "get money online" website.
From 06/11 to 16/11 I had every day 500-600 visits (700-900 views), now the buzz is slowly stopping and i'm at 400 visits / day so I'll try torank on others keywords.
Can't tell what is the level of competition becauses thoses keywords are new and don't appear in Google Adwords, but I'm #1 in Google for my 2 mains keywords.
Keywords are 2 words lenght.
Niche is on "how to avoid scams" and it's a french website.
Monetisation is done with adsense but is not going very well as my CTR is bellow 1% (around 0.6%)
I made an ebook but had 0 sales yet (paypal), I'm thinking about giving it for free with registration.
Work done so far :
05/11 : First day.
Bought the domain (.com) on the morning (exact match for 1st keyword), build a worpress and went to work.
I wrote an High quality article during my lunch break ~1000 Words and put analytics
I Pinged the blog using ping-o-matic and others ping tools
When returning home I put some adsense.
About 60 high quality manual comments (some are over 500 words) on autority/HPR blogs,websites and forums (like paypal forum) on the same thematic, 90% on the same language. (didn't ping thoses)
06/11: #4 - #5 on google for my 1st KW.
( I still made about 10 high quality backlinks every day until 18/10 )
11/11 : I wrote a second High quality article ~1000 words
I bought quality manual do-follow comments (1st package,5$) from this thread (good work and increase in serps) : manual comment
12/11 : #1st on google
I wrote an ebook (8 pages), sold it for 5? and made a 150 words article around it.
15/11 : ebook is now at 2? because nobody buys it ^^
18-19-20/11 : I downloaded the free version of GSA and made between 100 and 300 crappy/spun comments on blogs every days, some have high PR
20/11 : New article about another online scam (500 words)

Hosing + Domain registration : 29?
Backlinks from BHW member : 5$ (3.5?)
Earnings so far (12/11/2013): 13,80?
(Ready to sell banners slots if you want to advertise on it or whatever)
