[My Journey] Think Big, Start small, but Start !

Hello Everyone,

I'm an heavy reader of the forum from a long time, bought some guides but never jumped in so far. Here we go !

I'm passionate by trading / forex / stocks / increasing wealth but I lost years in finding the Holy Grail indicator or whatever. It took me a lot of time in learning, and understanding that success is just brick after brick and day after day. No magic formula, no quick win etc.

I wanted few years ago to create my own website, sell indicators, share my knowledge etc, but I was dreaming ahead without having done anything. Yes I had in mind all I wanted to setup online, but reality is reality, you have your work, and finally nothing happen. It 's like guy's dreaming of making 100$ a day in Internet Marketing since the first week...and just reading stuff without jumping one day.

Oh, yes I started a bit, I took a domain name, bought hosting, a wordpress template, but I never went far in fact. Just collecting hundred of wordpress plug-in (so see the idea) It was 1 years and a half ago...

I'm not a big fan of quote. Things like Warren Buffet said... makes me laught. Yes he is rich, but does it means we can replicate it! Same for motivational sentence...
But one day I discovered: Think Big, Start Small, But Start. It totally resonated in myself. Yes I have my big idea but I'm afraid starting for real, the mountain is huge and I remain in the valley dreaming only to reach the pic without moving any feet.

Here we go, here I'am. This journey or diary is for me a good opportunity as well to track my progression, share experience with you and keeping me motivated.

In order to start small, I have decided first to launch it on a Facebook Page (remove technical issue for a beginning), growing the audience, creating a bit of community and engagement with my articles in order to strengthen the page, adding features, structuring the design. If it reach an acceptable level I will built the Instagram counterpart. At a certain point I will be ready to start officially the website, capitalizing on the content already created and progressively adding features etc.

Thanks in advance for those who will follow this journey. It will be long, it will take time, but I'm not hurry. The principal has I said is to start !

As you may know Time is Money. I would say sometimes, time is more important than money.
As I don't want to write hundred of articles and expecting people to discover it by chance or trying to copy past the link to group by spending hours
online or one some forum, I decided to start by build a base of Fans for my page and to build level after level.

I wrote an appealing article " Why you should avoid Online Marketing Gurus !" and launched my first Facebook Campaign (Time is Money I said).
The goal is to built a first step of fan. Imagine you join a facebook page without any followers / like it's a bad signal you send and people need social proof in their decisions...
No go to buy list of like from a company, signals are importants for Facebook and I want Genuine ones. No reason to by pass that and to pay it later.

Just finished my 15e campaigns on 3 days. Have reach a bit more than 200 Fans, which give a very good ratio of 0,07e per like. Definitely a good price.

Nice tip I found. By clicking on people who love liked the publication you can see those as well who have not like the page. You can just manually click en sent an invite to like the page. I closed 10 more followers by doing that.

I can't share image or results, I think I'm too newbie in term of registration history, but I will upload it later when it will be possible.

Learnings:
- Too much text on your ads and it's refused
- I created a Note instead of a Classical post. Found it more appealing in term of visual and presentation. The bad side is the fact that you cannot Boost the post, and the ads create a copy of your note so your comments and likes are not in the initial note. I will reframe that.

- Revamp the note in a post and boost it
- A thank you post for the 200 fresh new and first followers !
- Preparing one or two new impactful Articles.
- Usage of the Creative Hub for better Ads Visual
