My Journey on a Different oath

Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it

after a lot of confusion and doubt..

Finally I invested in mutual finds .instead on investing in stock market I choose mutual fund sip as I have just started learning it.

Now I am 25 yrs old.. planning to retire @40-45

With the help of compound interest it will be easier.one thing that I regret now is I didn't invest when I was 18-19 ,the result would have been different.

Gradually I am learning now to invest in stock market on under valued stocks.i know it's not easy yet it's not impossible.

Hope one day I will update my proof stock market.on this thread..

Those who are in their 10-20 yr of age,just one advice save.even if it's small amount.you will see the result in long run.

Actually I have chosen 3 funds:-

Large Cap:-
Axis Bluechip Fund - Direct Plan - Growth

Multi Cap:-
Parag Parikh Long Term Equity Fund - Direct Plan - Growth

Large & Midcap:-

Sundaram large and Midcap fund direct growth


And when it comes to stock just bought few stocks from yes Bank and KVB

I know these two stocks are risky but there is still some hope.

I was watching a video related to stocks recently. It stated that this is not a good time to invest in stocks as P/E ratio is quite high. I have myself saw quite a loss in last few months in share market.

Good luck on this journey. Keep learning and earning. Totally agree with your last line reg doing savings while at young age.

for me i'm still not ready to invest in stock now, not ready to lose hehe
