Hello BHW community,

Im new in this community, but i want to share my journey in clickbank/IM.
About week ago i read that thread How to Choose CB products for Newbies - a 5 minute guide and decided to try my self.
I paid for domain, set-up there a multi product review site.

I found 2 products that i want advertise. Done, i created two campaigns. Not much result, probably poor keywords, bad Avg.pos and poor preparation, maybe not so good products. Both was in health-remedies.

Keywords that i used both campaigns

x treatment
x treatments
treatments x
treatment for x
treatment x
treat x
how to treat x
treating x
treatments for x
x natural treatment
x natural treatment
x natural treatments
x home treatment
x home treatments
natural treatment x
natural treatments x
home treatment x
home treatments x
x cure
x cures
cures x
cure x

In both campaigns i used one ad.

Cure X
linktomymultiproductreviewsite
Cure x permanently, best solution available reviewed.
---------------------
Next steps to i need to do now.

1) How find better keywords
2) How get better Avg.pos, 3 or lower like i understand is preferred/better
3) Probably i must do product specific page not multi product review site. Dont know :)

And i like to add here that i am motivated to learn :) It would be supper great if someone want to be my mentor.

- 60USD, no results.

Your Clickbank screen shot is hard to read but I can tell you do not have triple digit hops so it is way to early to tell. $60 spent is nothing when testing adwords, or bingads.

From what I can see, again your screenshot is hard to see, but you are losing a lot of people between your ad and the vendor page...telling me your review site is not good.

Do you have a video testimonial or a video explaining the features/benefits of the product? you can get them fiverr.com for $5-$10

Revamp your affiliate site/page and keep testing. If you spend about $300 with split testing then I would bail and pick new products, new keywords or a new niche alltogether. The health and "cure" niche is very hard to profit from as an affiliate. any success is usually from experts in IM or the actual product owner who gets 100% of the sale...

Good luck!

Hi ufo,

Well done on taking action! Few questions so we can help you better:

1. which platform is it - bing I'm guessing?
2. which countries are you targeting?
3. what match types are you using?
4. are you using negative keywords?
5. is the landing page compatible with all the devices you are targeting, eg mobile?
6. is your landing page well-written, nice layout, easy on the eyes, and doesnt look like an outright advertisement?
7. how's your banner placement?
8. do you have an opt-in in place?
9. are you using different ad groups according to kws?
10. you need to work on the ad text; what you have at the moment is not very attention grabbing. spy a bit on the top ads for ideas ;)

rjd1265:
Sry for low quality pictures. I changed them now.
No i dont have videos.

Ok, what category you suggest to use ? Yesterday i view hours CB products and terrible hard is find something for beginner like me. Huhh.

Hi mancar,

Yeah, taking no action is not a option :P

1. yes bing, i choose that for a start.
2. USA and Canada
3. You mean that "broad" or "phrase" ? I used broad match type.
4. No, i really dont know whats that negative keyword is to be honest with you
5. Yes it is compatible with all devices.
6. It's mostly copy-paste from affiliate articles and stuff. Im not a very good in english like u all see that :P. I can show you website if you want? Its hard to describe that. I belive its average. In a product review page is one "buy" link at bottom. Website body is light gray, text background is white and text itself is in black. Its based "typegrid" theme.
7. Maybe can u be more specific with that ? Can't understand :/
8. opt-in, u mean subscribe to some e-mail list ?
9. No i dont use.
10. ok

Seems to be hard for me find good keywords. These keywords are not good what examples i used my first post if i advertise some "cure"?

To-do list

1) Find a good product, dont know how yet.
2) Make good website, its easy to me fortunately.
3) Buy some reviews/text from epicwrite?
4) Review video from fiverr?
5) Find better keywords, dont know how.
6) Make better ad(s) text(s) to bing.

Any suggestion is very welcome

EDIT: Found product, in mental health. Wrote a email and get really fast answer and copy of product. Its promising, i hope.

You can find better keywords by using the Bing Keyword Tool.

To increase your average position in PPC advertising, increase the relevancy of your ad copy and landing page to the keyword (in other words, use the keyword in both), and increase your bid.

If you want to increase your conversion rate, make sure your product appeals to Bing's demographic and be sure to keep your CTA and other important elements above the fold on the landing page.

best keyword for health is normally
product treatment

use keyword planner to find the rest,
but spend most of your money on that one

Thanks for good advice, i really appreciate your help.

How many keywords must i find ?

Content bid and Search bid ? At moment is 0.50usd, too low ?

I think you need to look into using free methods like pinterest and seo hi-jacking, or maybe start up a fb fanpage , blog or forum marketing .... the list goes on. PPC can be very risky if you're a begginer and can spell the end for many would-be IMers!!
