I've added this section for all the 'My Journey' and the 'Follow me as I make $xx/day' threads.

Buying, Selling, Want to Buy and Joint Ventures aren't allowed here.

Love the idea. I personally don't like seeing other sections clogged up with somewhat irrelevant threads just because a journal has to do with "making money" doesn't necessarily mean it should be created in that sub-forum.

Great idea though and hopefully it doesn't necessarily increase the amount of these types of threads being made as I personally feel there's enough going around already (at least they're now put in the same place).
 
to be honest, i haven't see any follow-me thread has a good ending, people launch such threads and declare they will earn XXX/per day but they finally just gave up within 1 month.

I read many complete and successful journals for $50/$100 per day which is not bad result. Of course many people give up and quit, but this is normal.
On topic: The new section is super cool, i love such a threads and now i can found all of them in ine place.
 
Thanks Pofecker.. I am really glad today to see some Long Due Required Action and was sick of so many unwarranted and futile threads.. Will surely make BHW a better sorted place...

My Journey has been an odd one. I got my AdSense account WAY back in 2005... Adsense wasn't very old back then. I only did it to add some "small" amounts of revenue to my hobby sites... and it worked. Fast forward a few years... I was deployed by the National Guard and kind of forgot about even doing any "money making" on the net. A few months back I was going through my account information and found that I still had money in my AdSense account that was never paid to me since I closed my old bank account.

So here I am today in a VERY different SEO environment with an Adsense account that is nearly as old as AdSense itself..... I have been reading this forum (first post)... and Have decided I will give it a go to see if I can beat the odds and start a passive income. So wish me luck! Oh yeah, I got the money by updating my banking info... So that did spur me on.

Now, I'm looking for that "low hanging fruit" I keep reading about. Keywords with High Competition, High CPC, and low quality 1-10 sites on the SERP.... Figuring out how to find those is my next big step.

I see everyday many new "my journey...follow me..." threads. Even the very new ones start a journey immediately by saying "hey I know no shit but I will make $59873/day in 6 months. follow me."

Unfortunately, it goes on like this:

- My hosting has a problem
- Is blogger better than wordpress? I am stuck.
- My mommy does not give me $5 so I still can't buy a domain name.

Then the disaster comes:

- Sorry I was very busy so I could not write here for fckng 89 months.
- Sorry I was away for sex
- Sorry I lost my virginity

And so many excuses.

Actually, one year ago, it was a pleasure to read those journeys. There was so much quality and lots of information along with many tips and tricks. Now they are like periods of female bears. Full of bloody pain and brings nothing to the bhw society.

I kindly suggest here, like JV threads, it should be moderated. There should be some prerequisites which should be met to start such threads like post/thread/rep/thanks counts.

Hahaha. I like the excuses part and also all the reasons part of why the journey is not being updated etc.
 
I like the My Journey section. :)
But yeh, very often you read x amount of paged of this "journey" that by page 26 they've given up on!
But other people HAVE succeeded and it's great to read their journeys!
