So my first attempt last year on this route is unsuccessful. I gave up to early, I wasn't doing it right, and I simply don't have time as I was busy with my work.
After day 7 when the Big G decided to sandbox the page, I killed the post and stop altogether. Now that I know better, I'm taking this journey again AND decided to post it here to hold myself accountable and not able to just throw in the towel.
It's like going to a gym instead of doing exercise in your own home. The motivation is there when there are eyes looking on you.
Without further ado, here I go...
PRE-LAUNCH
I decided with these 4 main keywords. All will be carrying Amazon Affiliate. I know there are others out there but I am just comfortable with Amazon and I have 10 years Associate account that pass through and never been compromised, no matter how little or heavy clicks it has.
I already have the articles ready for first 3 keywords AND I already wrote the 4th keyword article last week. Word count varies between 1,500 to 3,500 words.
DAY 1
I decided to still use Medium, but this time, have to "play better" with them when using their system. I used to earn an average of $100 a month with my own Medium account (no dummies, but using my real name), so the account is a bit older, with plenty activities that Medium will see it as trusted, thus I don't hit limitation whatsoever.
1. I published all 4 articles without problem (as expected). There are lots of technicalities involve in properly formatting it. I suggest if anyone will be doing the same, try to learn the basics of their editor's functionalities. Otherwise, you'll end up with a "bland-looking" article.
2. I also created a facebook page to share these newly published articles. So far, no blast on anything; just one FB share on each article.
3. I subscribed to 14 days trial of SerpRobot and created the tracking projects right away.
4. As for social media, I ordered a refill for AddMeFast account. This way, I can control how many shares I'll get per day per parasite post.
POST PLAN
I am planning to sit and wait for these pages to get index and settle down before sending them backlinks. I hope 7 days will be enough.
-------------------------------
From this point on, I'll be updating this journey thread as soon as there is update AND what I have done for the day/week.
Not sure if anyone would be following this thread, as I have seen many parasite journey here as well, but I try to do right this time. And then again, I'm doing this most of all for myself.
I realized that even if you are merely leeching to these huge sites, you still can't get away if you do something "naughty" in G's eyes. So I won't be doing any blasts and GSAs, etc. All of these pages will be hand-raised and manually done by me. I do have a few connections and access from powerful sites.
And oh, I forgot to mention that I'm setting aside an average of $150 budget for each page.
