SEO Attempt #2: Fiverr Gigs

Red denotes current position.
Green denotes 2010 position.

Website #1:

  • Week 2: Google Ranking: [170/1]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [185/1]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [199/1]

Website #2:

  • Week 2: Google Ranking: [13/4]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [13/4]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [12/4]

Website #3:

  • Week 2: Google Ranking: [63/N/A]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [44/N/A]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [50/N/A]

Results are so-so on the fiverr gigs as well. Site #1 is improving steadily, #2 doesn't want to budge, and #3 is fluctuating by about 40-50 spots every few days.

SEO Attempt #3: Scrapebox

Red denotes current position.
Green denotes 2010 position.

Website #1:

  • Week 2: Google Ranking: [23/3]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [22/3]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [20/3]
    Will receive direct blasts.

Website #2:

  • Week 2: Google Ranking: [11/1]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [16/1]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [23/1]
Will receive 20x web 2.0's and blasts.

The only real good progress I've seen so far throughout all these attempts is by the Linkwheel + Scrapebox test. I've only completed about 10 of the 20x web 2.0's I said I'd make, so I still have some work to do. This is definitely encouraging though.

As I'm feeling a bit lazy about doing the Scrapebox blasts myself (what with all the other work that goes into these tests), so going forward I'll be buying either Fiverr gigs, or blasts from the Buy/Sell/Trade section.

Are you ordering from the same guy on fiverr ? for the Website #1 ?

Can you PM me the link for the gig you used ?

Thanks

Subscribed. Interesting case study. web 2.0+scrapebox are probably going to win out, specially if you later on decide to purchase bookmarks and AMR blasts for them.

Reinvest most of the $1k per month or so you're making with these sites using quality services from the BST forum and I'm sure you'll be back at your previous earnings level in no time!

Subscribed.!! Interesting thread.
Also it would be great if you can mention which seo service that you use.

Nope, I've randomly taken a bunch of fiverr's from threads here that recommend gigs. I believe for #1 I took a social bookmarking one (there are so many), and the 2nd was a link pyramid (the seller was Volarex or something?).

I've read several threads here that advocate that method. I may just try it out, thanks!

Soooo, how many sites were bringing in your original high of around $4k a month. 4?

It's in the original post, but I'll repeat it here. The majority of the money was coming from about 10-15 sites. If you want a further breakdown, probably 50% was made by the top 4-5.

hi, i'd like to thank u first for writing this journey but can u tell me what tools you use to track your ranking on serp? is it google webmaster or u just check it manually ?

interesting case study, hope you will make your money back

    Week 2: Google Ranking: [5/1]
    Week 1: Google Ranking: [5/1]
    Week 0: Google Ranking: [5/1]

No movement at all this week, very disappointing. I might stop writing articles for 2 of the sites, so that I can concentrate article writing for the other 2, just to see if that makes a difference. I have over 120 articles in the system now, about 100 of which have been published so far.

Rather large surge forward from site #1, other than that nothing to report. I believe site #1 has had mostly linkwheel/linkpyramid gigs (although I can double check).

Got myself a copy of The Best Spinner this week and was working on creating a few articles to put on the web 2.0's (got a bit tired of writing them myself). Built up a few highly spun articles, generally between 80-90% (best one was 800 word/95% unique). I'll start posting them up this week. Bought a few fiverr gigs this week too, linkwheels/linkpyramids and xrumer/scrapebox blasts, all to my web 2.0's. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well, BMR is toast so I'll have to either end this part of the experiment, or try to continue with a different service. Anybody have any suggestions?

Not any better but you could switch everything to ALN or a private network. Personally I would build web 2.0's for all of them and then ALN / Bookmark / Scrapebox those
