Has anyone managed to bypass iCloud?
I have tried several software programs online, but I can't reset this iPhone 6 to default settings.

Go to the iCloud website, show all devices and then remove the device that's locked. Alternatively, use a third party software to jailbreak it.

Do you have any working third party tool? I don't want to spend any money.

You would have better luck asking help in forums that specialize in hardware hacking.

By iCloud, I reccon you mean that the phone is iCloud locked on the 'Hello' screen?
If so, it is possible to bypass the lock on older devices such as yours, but it requires quite a deep knowledge of hardware hacking, I'm afraid.
If your device's version is old enough to support a direct jailbreak through a cable, it should be possible to bypass the lock.
You would need to boot a specific jailbreaking OS and then use that in order to jailbreak your device through a cable. You would then have to run a script on your PC that sends a payload through the cable, that would then bypass the lock.

Sorry to break the news, but unless there's anything super important and you're not really familiar with these things, I'd personally just ditch the phone and move on. It's quite a big of a hassle, if you've not done such things before, as this isn't an operation that is a 'plug-n-play'.

I have attempted to use a few pirated software available online, but they did not function as expected. It has been challenging to find a reliable tool, which is why I am seeking assistance in identifying a suitable option. Essentially, I require software that can fulfill the necessary task. Although I have searched through torrent websites, the ones I have found have not been effective.

Plus to jailbreak would probably cost him more money than actually replacing the phone.

I used the USB Tool with some CMD commands to jailbreak it. Then I managed to bypass iCloud activation. I am able to perform some USSD operations, but when I restart the phone, it goes to iCloud activation screen again. Now I have to start from scratch. All features are working except for making calls and receiving and sending text messages. The only thing remaining is "removing Apple ID and iCloud account from iOS device."

Bypassing iCloud can be really tricky Apple has some pretty tough security in place to protect their devices, so most of the online tools out there either don't work or end up being more trouble than they're worth. I’ve been in a similar situation before, and one tool that actually helped me was Passixer iPhone Unlocker. It’s pretty straightforward to use and worked well for getting an old iPhone back to default settings. It's definitely worth checking out if you're still stuck.
