My instagram name got changed without me changing it

Hi,
As the title says, I had a domain expire and lost an instagram account for a while. Anyway I got my domain back and at some point my username changed twice and now when I login its got an 'o' on the end.

So its blablaO rather than blabla. I can't change the name back, but its not in use / showing up when I try instagram.com/blabla

How do I get help from Instagram with this? I tried to find the right button on "HELP" but with no avail. I have old email proof that it used to be called blabla.

you cant because the name has been used elsewhere probably ... check it ... and also check any free ig bot services that are still using your account (if you changed password that wont be a problem anymore)


does that problem happen when you try to login from phone ? if yes try a computer login because i had some similar accounts ending in numbers 1,2,3 and 1 always logged in even if i insert 2 or 3 with corresponding passwords.

Can you still log into the account?

If so check the email registered etc to see if you still actually control the account.

Hi Mister,

Yes I reset the password and have control of the account. Just the username has been changed. EG

instagram.com/DOMAIN.CO

now its instagram.com/DOMAIN.COO

Obviously I'd like to get it back to how it was, I have proof in my emails that it was .CO back in 2016 with emails from Instagram.

I just don't know which form to contact instagram on to get some help.
