my incoming links gone...

hi, I checked my incoming links with Yahoo site explorer and the numbers were cut down in half (at least)!
one of my sites had 3000 links this morning and now it showing 450...
and the other ones are having the same issue - at least 5 of them that I'm tracking regulary. any ideas anyone?

It happens every few weeks. They come back sometime today.

Yeah, it's a regular thing. I used to get worried but it isn't just me that it happens to.

I checked mine and they too have dropped almost exactly in half.

So don't worry, it isn't just your site.

Had the same today, Yahoo showed 100 links vs the standard average of 450 for my site. Good to know it's a regular thing that I shouldn't worry too much about.

mine went from 6.5k to 4k few days ago... Hope it gets back or at least doesn't affect my site.

yep i nearly gave birth to contents of my insides this morn when saw over half links gone

big g it lots of comments no one seems kinda bothered so hopefully they will be back

Yup, 98,000 dropped to 42,000. Seems to happen all the time, though.

This just happened to me yesterday and also happened to a bunch of people on warrior forum as well. I lost 40% of my links on two websites and one of the sites the links came back today. The other site the links are still gone, but my serps are still the same.
