This is a method which allows to link to ANY web site of the internet, with the twist that it will display a *unblockable* pop-under window for displaying related affiliate offers.
The way it works is that you basically (on a forum or yahoo answers etc.) you can give someone an URL which can be any URL on the web, like free screens savers, health tips, whatever they are asking for.
You have that little piece of code on YOUR site/server, and what it does it does a redirect (from your site) to the destination site (helpful site)...while at the same time spawning a popup fom your affiliate link.
(Eg. i am giving someone my link for free WoW wallpapers, person gets to destination site and another window opens too where i sell a WoW guide
)
TRICK FOR UNBLOCKABLE popups:
Its literally IMPOSSBIBLE to have code for a unblockable second window since browsers noways will block ANY of those. (The only way for a true unblockable window is DHTML code which must be part of the HTML of site).
But i found a workaround for a unblockable window:
If there is a popup blocker active the user gets to your site, but then he sees a short message "please click here to go to [DESTINATION]" (Like here if you click an external link from hiderefer .org, it the same principle)
If the user clicks, via a trick the pop-up will open even if he has a popup blocker running.
If he has NO popup blocker it will just open without that trick.
Usage is simple, look at the code, and there are two things you can change, destination URL (which is whatever existing site from the web) and POPUP_URL, eg. your clickbank link for related offer.
You could eg. put this on a site and name it redir1.html, another redir2.html and so forth (or whatever you want to name it)....and then tell people "here, i found a link on wikipeda" http:// YOURSITE .com/redir1.html <-- goes to wikipedia
This also has potential because you can use this to leave links to "clean" sites, heck even to whitehouse.gov or whatever you want to link to...chances are that your link will not be deleted since your offer is only in the popup and the destination of the redirect is always a real clean site with what the user is looking for. So in a nutshell, its a popup-window spawning redirect.
