So, the last few months I have done tons and tons of reading on building micro niche sites.

My long term goal is to make $10,000/mo. My short term goal is $100/mo

So, I bit the bullet and decided to spend $500~ in total and I'm now running 8 micro niche sites. I'm outsourcing nearly everything, because I quickly realized where I am good and where I need tons of work. I got scammed twice, but thankfully, it was only a few dollars both times.

I've made $1.00 in November, but I'm still working on trying to rank everything.

On a side note, can anyone recommend an actual good small link building service that won't cost me more than $50 each for 6 of these sites or at least a way to rank them in the next 3 - 6 months? I keep reading confusing/conflicting information on here about that. Also, I don't understand when to buy back links if I do go that route. (some people have said immediately, some people say wait)

The keywords have low competition, so I heard that onsite SEO should be good enough to rank low competition but other people have claimed that a couple of back links is a good call to help secure top 3 on Google.

Anyways, this isn't a questions-exclusive thread, I'm hoping to start seeing a return within the next 3 months. Thankfully, I know how to code so I can fix/build wordpress themes for myself and help boost the "technical SEO" aspects on my own. With a little work and a little luck, I think I can achieve this goal of $10K/mo.

thanks for reading and I hope to update really soon :-)

Please tell me you are not running all those sites on the same account + hosting. As the old saying goes -

I was in a Joint Venture with someone before and they did tell me that it all pays off in the end. Besides you can then sell all those sites a year later for at least a dozen times their monthly value. Keep at it and you will make it big, or so I've heard... a kazillion times~. ;)

For the link building, have you searched here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/seo-link-building.43/ ??

I am running them all under the same hosting. I didn't think that would be a bad call. Most of them are "How to" guides.

I have a couple of cheaper servers I could probably run them from, I'll switch them out.

Also, thanks for the link, I'll go ahead and read around more!! :D

12/24/2016 update -->

My first website is going pretty well. I've hit $0.31 this month with adsense, which is quite an improvement compared to last month.
I also have a few clicks from Amazon Affiliates, since it's the holidays I wouldn't be shocked if I get a few more sells to go through
before the 31st.

I finally got articles for my 2nd site completed. All that is left is to get an image for each, have them slowly post over the next month. I actually
have this one ranking pretty well already (#6 on my main keyword, with just one article) so I'm hoping to see a bit of an increase because of
the recent activity.

My other 6 that I invested in are taking awhile to be built, it's been about a week. The total CPC for them is about $30~ or so, so I am
very anxious to get those started up. I'll be dropping ~$150 or so for a large amount of articles, buying a few backlinks, and then waiting
to see what happens with them.

That's not much of an update, but I figured I hadn't posted since Sunday and might as well.
