Good luck, a little more insight on your journey would be cool.
I have tried editing the first post many times to make it more proper, but seeing as I am a new member I am unable to do so. So I'll post my day 2 here. I am using the gaming niche to drive people to download my ppi link. Media kings is being used for my network.
Day 2:
My video now has 29 views and my link 21.
I have managed to get two of them to convert for a total of $0.19
I'm currently trying to work out how to get my video #1 in YouTube rankings.
Any tips on ranking YouTube videos to #1 would be greatly appreciated.

For ranking, there are some methods but the most popular one involves increasing youtube views and likes. You can use either view exchange sites like vagex or the services of someone who provides paid views but a word of caution: a few days ago there was an update on youtube due to which a lot of videos have been banned for inflating view count. So, if you are looking to increase the views by these methods, you need to be very careful.

I think you mean HR views, OP. Good idea, they factor in ranking, but don't forget channel authority, and on page SEO.

I spam uploaded about 34 videos to YouTube. All of them being 10 seconds and containing only text. These haven't done so well.
I've boosted 2 of my higher quality videos with Enhanceviews/u2bviews have been at 301+ views all day, hopefully they don't get taken down.
Created a landing page for one of the videos that I expected to convert more than it has.
My eCpm is horrible, at least I think:

I plan on taking my old domain I had lying around and creating some type of forum or blog. This is yet to be decided.
Should I create a blog or a forum? Forums seem like self writing content after you maintain a stable user base, but building it could be a hurdle. Yes and i am using media-kings as my network.
Its been awhile since I have updated. I am just gonna post what I've learned.
1. Media-Kings is absolute shit, go with a real PPI network
2. CPA is the way.
3. Always check to make sure your links are working. I've probably missed around 20-30 leads because of this. (Media-Kings decided to fuck my links I suppose)
4. Set reasonable goals no matter how lazy you are.
5. Always do at least 1 thing a day to bring you in extra income apart from your main method.
6. When it comes to YouTube, Quality over Quantity.
I am starting see a small, but steady daily $1-2 dollars a day without much work and 0 start-up cash.
