My IM Journey to $3000 a month

So I started my own business a few years back. After looking at how much I made last year when filing taxes, I am disappointed with the amount coming in since it is less then I was making when I had a regular job. I love having my own company though and if I can help it, I don't want to go back to working for someone else. I'm going to make 2014 a better year financially. I have a few good gigs on Fiverr and now I just created a new website to try to sell more of the types of things I currently have on Fiverr. I created a new website and will be ranking it. I will also try a little email marketing, networking, and possibly AdWords. This is my journey to $3000 a month just with the new website and Fiverr gigs, not counting my other income.

Current monthly Fiverr income: around $300

Tools: VPS, GSA, The Best Spinner, Wicked Article Creator, Scrapebox

Things I've done so far:
Built the new website
Ordered a few articles from my ODesk writer (if you haven't tried ODesk yet, you can get $100 credit by searching for Flippa deals. You'll have to hire someone for a few hours and then they will credit your account $100 when you visit ODesk through the Flippa deals page. It can be hard to find a good writer though. I lucked out.)

I am already on page 6 of Google for one of my keywords with just on-page SEO. It shouldn't be to hard to move up. I'm still waiting on articles from my Odesk writer. I had her do a bunch at once (most not related to this specific site). Another thing I do for articles is take walks with my Iphone and use the note app with the speech to text function so I can write articles while I'm walking. It is nice to get away from the computer every once in awhile so I'll try to do this today.

I'm up to page 4 now after posting some of the articles on rebelmouse.com and my private blog. I also created a listing on crunchbase.

I made it to page 2. I have since had a writer create content and added it to a few private blogs I have. I recently moved so I haven't had a a lot of time to spend on this. I also have signed up quite a few new clients for my web design/SEO company.

My Fiverr sales have tanked now with the newest changes to Fiverr. I'm not sure why since I have a great reputation. I haven't figured out their ranking system yet but I have tons of reviews and all of them are positive.

I have had a great Fiverr month this past month. I have had about 40 orders in the past 30 days and some of the orders were for $45. I haven't made it to 3k a month yet with just Fiverr but I'm trying out different gigs and I definitely have increased sales.
