My IG profile restricted for 3 years old or over.

Hello everyone,

Something strange happened to my IG profile. All the engagement dropped immediately so I started to check what happened.

I found that when I access the profile from google or incognito tab I get this:

Someone know how can I cancel this age restriction?

Yes its a kinda funny but I am facing 90% drop in engagement because of this sh*t. :weep:

Have you setup any viewers min. age for your profile?? There was a setting, if I'm not wrong, to control the minimum age of who can view your profile.

I can access my profile, the problem occurs when other people without date of birth on their profile can't access my profile. So now many people can't access my profile.

Yes I saw this option while I am searching for solution in google.
This option is available only for business profiles. I can't try it since now I have also a problem with switching to business. "you have reached the limit for the number of businesses you can create at this time"

If you haven't messed up the settings, it might be that Instagram detected that most of your profile content is related to alcohol or content that’s meant for older audiences!

I don't blame ig though. a bunch of ig users act like they are not even 3 yr old.
Set a dob in the settings, and thanks for the laugh!

Yes maybe this is the problem but it's absolutely a mistake.
I upload just funny memes and videos.

Is there something to do? to appeal?

That's very weird. Your posts somehow got age restricted. Try contacting their customer support.

Edit: By the way, have you checked this setting?

Thank you for the replies. Its a good idea.
This option is available only for business profiles.
I can't try it since now I have also a problem with switching to business. When I am trying to switch to business account I get the message: "you have reached the limit for the number of businesses you can create at this time" .

So now I am searching a solution for two problems simultaneously.
