my idea/question about keyword in URL

Ok. So google treats subdomain having keyword as keyword in URL.
So for example I can not get makemoneyonline.com , but I can get something else like hotrevenuestreams.com.

So now two options:

1. build a site on hotrevenuestreams.com targettinmg keyword make money online
2. do not build it on top level, but build it on directory called make money online. So in this case my site will be buil on hotrevenuestreams.com/make-money-online/ and I will build links not to top level domain, but to that directory...

I did not think about it this way before but since google treats second option as having keyword in url maybe second option is way better?

Leave it out that second one if less brandable (serious site on directory sounds less serious) and speak only from SEO point of view.

Ok but there is a difference between a subdomain and a directory in googles eyes isn't there?

Directory Structure is better as a SEO point of view... Subdomains are some how treated as different domains in search engines...

I came to this idea reading about doing keyword research and looking for "inurl:keyword". Google counts this unrelated-word.com/keyword as site having keyword inurl.

Meaning google treats both:
viagrapills.com
xcvdgsfs.com/viagra-pills/

as having keyword inurl

So whats advantage of having site build on the first one? Keyword in url is good and these both have keyword in url...

It's included because it's in the URL, but you won't get a ranking boost because it's in the URL, the power is in having your keyword be an Exact Match Domain (EMD). This is going to change in 2011 according to Google, but for now, your best bet is to get an EMD and use that.

Having the keyword in the URL is a bonus (under a directory or article title) but is not guaranteed to give any boost. It may play a role in relevancy, but that is about it (from my own personal experience).

having directory is too hard to maintained and it;s too much time consuming i guess. It is better to have sub domain as you can promote that on very high level and get the relevant result so far... opinion on both point of view (SEO and owner)

I don't understand. Whats the diference between buying a domain and installing a site (wordpress for instance) on root eirectory or on inside directory. Same with link building - either you build links to root or to directory.
I don't understand what you are saying because for me its the same maintenence.

But still what should I do (excluding EMD idea)
I have irrelevant domain like sgsgsgsgs.com and I want to build it as TV shows for example.
Should I builld wordpress site on shshshshs.com and link to it with anchors "TV shows" OR should I build it on shshshshshs.com/TV-shows/ and build links to it with anchor "TV shows"

?

just make it a subdomain:

keyword.unrelatedkeyword.com

Build BL to ^THAT WHOLE URL

put your keyword in the anchor text and it will rank like a regular website.

Sub Domain= Fresh website in google eyes.

Main site effects subdomain but subdomain doesnt effect main site..

For example:

You make main site PR8, it will spill over authority to subdomains naturally BUT not vise versa

Subdomain is good, but if my domain is addon domain on shared hosting then I can not create subdomain on that addon domain. So lets discuss about directory only. Is it worth creating directory with related keyword or should I stick with unrelated keyword domain.

PLUS BIG QUESTION - if you say they treat subdomains as new domains why would people stress out that they can not get good keyworded domains?? They can, just buy domain sgsgsgsgsfsfs.com and create subdomain of any quality keyword like makemoneyonline.shshshshshsh.com and therte you go you have same power as makemoneyonline.com (If what you say is truth)
