My hashtags on Instagram dont work, even when i post manually

Hey guys,

I have noticed a sudden decrease in my engagement, and realized that my hashtags are not working at all.

I started posting FollowLiker, and noticed the drop in engagement.
Then i tested posting manually on Instagram app.

I used a unique hashtag to test, and when i add the hashtag in the comments then my hashtag is not working. It shows 1 result on instagram but it doesnt allow you to see the post. Get 'no post for this hashtag' when i click on it.
I tried adding the hashtag in the caption, only one hashtag.
The first time i search for it, i can see my post, if i repeat the search once again, then my post no longer appears on the search results. Actually same error as above.

This happens even to accounts that i rarely used, completely fresh accounts.
I only have 5 accounts running on my computer, so i dont use proxies.

Any ideas why this happens?
Could it be an IP ban? (i dont have any warnings from Instagram)

The hashtags are frozen right now. They haven't been updated since yesterday. No new posts will show right now.

Yep, hashtags are not working since yesterday. Right now the most recent photos are from 19 hours ago.

I think they're doing a massive disabling purge, so they disabled hashtags to use those resources elsewhere. My 2-3m page got hit from this yesterday, but is back today Tons of other pages I know are disabled tho lol.


To be frozen on some big hashtags tho when this happened :O

Thank you! I was banging my head against the wall and didn't think of checking the time stamp on the last posts lol

i cant even post on instagram, it keeps telling me to try later.

I just got the option to switch to a business profile, maybe it has to do with rolling that out and I connected my page a couple of days ago.

The hashtags are now working as usual again.

I do not believe this is the case. I have just done extensive testing of hashtags and found that the following is happening:

Most new posts, but not all, are getting added to the 'recent' section of hashtags.

The positions within the top posts are being updated (current top posts can change positions), but no new posts since yesterday can become a top post.
