My hashtags are worthless!

I’d give your account a rest for a week. I know what your saying about removes the point of the bot however just means need to dial it down a bit when it starts working again.

I’m literally in the same situation so I’ll report back in a week of it was successful.

Are you saying to not login to Instagram at all for a week, or are you saying to not use bots/hashes for a week?

How long this shadow ban will be and what should I do about it? This happen only on the 1st account.

And what caused that - is it the bot for sure?
Adding 30 non-releated hashtags all the time to your shitty post it will harm your acc for sure, thats why you are ghosted.

I wanted to give an update in case anyone happens to be in the same situation and finds this thread.
Once I found out I was shadowbanned, I went through my posts and deleted all hashtags from them. I didn't delete them from every post, just from when I started having problems to most recent.

I then shut down all automation. I stayed off Instagram for 3 complete days. After 3 days I posted again and tested a few hashtags, my post still wasn't showing for hashtags. I deleted the hashtags from the post. I then stayed completely off of Instagram for a week.

After a week, I put a post up and used a few hashtags. My hashtags are now showing again. So Bob's suggestion of waiting a week did work for me. Now I'm going to proceed with caution with this account. I made the big rookie mistake that OP did, I kept using a lot of hashtags and using the same ones over and over. Even though they were relevant, Instagram doesn't like this. I hope this helps anyone stuck in a similar situation.

Thanks for the update, I'm glad you sorted it out!

Did you disabled your account or just let it be?

I can say say that I kept doing the same with my account and didn't post any hashtags for the past 10 days and I'm still shadowbanned.

Thats great, glad it worked out. Its not more the bots, its the hashtags and posts, I was silly and posted around 8 times a day, now i stick to 2 or maybe once a day to keep my page active. stick between 15/23 hashtags with a mixture and you are good to go.

Since all of my hashtags are not shown (not even the most old ones), should I just remove them all from my posts?

no need to delete old posts. Just check the tags when you post and keep an eye on it, start of posting slow - 1 post a day and work up to you know what your limit is

I meant that my hashtags are shown as comments to my posts and if I should delete those comments (not the posts)?

I’m not sure it will make a difference now if your ban has been lifted.

I noticed this was happening to me also. But the cause was from using IFTTT

Don’t re-use your photos and switch up your hashtags

[UPDATE]

After 14 days my hashtags are back! For future purposed of people encountering the same issue, I didn't stop following/unfollowing and kept posting. I just didn't post any hashtags at all :)

How can you tell IFTTT was causing the problem? I have been using IFTTT for many years on multiple pages without any problems.

Yes, based on what I have seen from other Instagram marketers, 2 weeks seems to be the most common shadowban period.

I posted here just to suggest a reason as to why the OP might not be showing up in the hashtag results. However, for my own issue below I am specifically talking about Twitter, not Instagram. Cheers.

Hi, everything was fine before using IFTTT. As soon as I started using it on one of my twitter accounts I no longer show up for my hashtags. I suspect this may be due to someone else pulling the same exact results from a certain sub-reddit as me. As a result, I believe there may be a duplicate detector of some sort on Twitter. So, with me being last to the party, the other account(s) gets to show up in the hashtag results, and the late comer (me) is deemed as duplicate content and left out of the hashtag results.

This is just a theory, but one that I'm confident in as being close to the mark. And I can see why they would do it. You wouldn't want two images (Tweets) that are exactly the same, being posted at the exact same time to the same, or very similar hashtags (the juicy ones). Then multiply this by an average of 20 tweets per day, over the course of two months, and I think you start to see the issue. I'll have to try and tweak it when I have the time, change a few things up to see if that makes a difference.

My issues definitely started when I began using IFTTT though, no doubt about it. Everything was going well before that, and nothing else but unique tweets (and my own images) had been posted on that account. No fake followers or anything else. Thanks.
