One of my WH sites is the victim of this. I'm pretty sure I know which competitor it was as well. I have been trying to figure out how or if to fight back. I don't know if it is worth it because it seems like there is nothing one can do to get the rankings back besides build another site, and report the competitor until they themselves are delisted.
