My google traffic is gone

My google traffic has completely stopped for one of my main sites. I checked hittail.com and looked at the most recent searches, gone. All the pages are still indexed in Google, and if you at the name domain name in front of the search it shows up, example

#1. Buzzkill (nothing)
#2. buzzkill blackhatworld (front page listing)

I check to see if it went supplemental with the site: /* and the pages are still showing up, but there are zero hits from Google today.

This really sucks, has anyone experienced this and the site has returned to being listed in the results? Or am I witnessing the beginnings of delisting and it will be totally gone soon?

buzkill sorry man but you are in the sandbox. your site will not get up again. i have 10 websites in that situation. That is the way google screws you with its algorithms

getting a -30 penalty? go check exactly where you rank in the results, go through page by page until you find yourself, you probably got hit with some sort of a penalty

what was it u cud of been doing that caused this??

Were those new sites (month or less) or have you had those rankings for a while. Typically my new sites start in the top 20 for my keyphrases, then drop way down after about 2 weeks, then climb back up over the next month or so as my link building starts to kick in.

Oh well. Lessoned learned. So much for it only happening to the other guy. I would assume I was done in by competition. Screw unto others I guess.

I don't know what it is. But I've had that happen before. Suks! now I have some sites that will be there one day and gone the next and then a couple days later be back. I don't understand that either. But seems like when I have a site dissapear like that but still be indexed I do a link campaign and that will sometimes help. But as andyred stated above it can be a sandbox and take a long time if ever to bounce back. The only advice I could suggest is to get links steady not massive at once. And if there is any reason like doorway pages or cloaked pages or bh tech you are useing perhaps slow up on those methods and see what happens.
For this reason I have been considering to learn more about msn and yahoo and try target them more. Most of my traffic is from google.

I felt like something was up when I saw some traffic coming from inside emails. I watch my stats obsessively and some things seemed a little off this past week. It also coincides with some youtube stuff. I guess I should drop this now before this is considered a posting in the wrong forum. Thanks for the input.

I have noticed shit like that too and wonderd how I could be gettin hits from emails when I wasn't doing email marketing. My traffic on my biggest stie just dropped off to nill around christmas or in that neighborhood. That along with recent adsense changes affected my adsense income. For Jan. I didn't even earn a check. I just started to build other sites on free servers with no ads or pop ups and use blogger blogs to link to the site and so on.
It is very discourageing, and makes one feel like giveing up. That is a big reason I am exploreing other options and methods, such as bots and you tube and social networking sites. Haven't tried anything with that yet.
How is the video bot comming along buzz?

The email links happen once in a while, just from someone sending a hey look at this email, but it always makes me nervous.

The video posting could be what set this off. This was my iphone traffic, Im pretty bummed out about it actually. But if you want to know if video post robot works, it most definitely does what it claims to do. Most of the sites are sticklers about copyright violations but thats to be expected. Youtube actually seems to be the most relaxed about it, and the majority of the videos that I have posted have really picked up a lot of views, comments, and friends or whatever they are. Its also shown me what a bunch of nutbags the video sharing people are. VPR posts to livevideo.com so I went to check it out, holy shit, what a bunch of weirdos, they have this whole community that buzzes around this one chick who is obviously still mad at the world because she was never asked out in school. She still believes in unicorns and thinks she is something special, its high drama over there.. I got totally sucked into reading their fights and video responses to each other but then I got a little creeped out and haven't been back since. Last I checked you could post just about anything there but I don't think the traffic is worth anything so don't waste your bandwidth on it. Well thats not true, if you could make a video about making videos and sell video making equipment.. or maybe unicorn horns and pillows that are shaped like a human for hugging at night, you might have something, but the new jay-z ringtone isnt going anywhere. Sorry for the rant..

I think somehow, we were reported or google considered by itself we are spammers of some sort and we are penalized. But the strange thing is the site never cames up again. I added new backlinks, strong pr 5-6, no results, and the sites are like that for more than 1 year. I read all is to be read about this. It's not a -30 penalty, it's the sandbox.
Buzkill imagine dude, I was having 8-10 sales per day for 8 months after that suddenly google screwed me big time. From hero to zero in no time. Fook Google, we put a lot of time and efort in marketing and seo and he screws us

Its your competition attempting to get you delisted. Its a dirty trick but been in pratice for some time. Must have really good paying keywords otherwise it wouldnt be worth it.

dont worry one of my sites real estate sites was climbing like and champ and all of a sudden its -175 but it made up +92 on google SERP today

I have seen a couple hits come through from Google today and I noticed the bot is back. Very frustrating.

I was first page for a ton of good queries. I was a sitting duck. I fell into the traffic by accident. I just happened to be doing something that exploded so for once I was way ahead of the game. I left myself wide open, wont happen again.

Buzz did the rankings came back?

A ton of traffic from the bot, like its reindexing everything, and a couple hits from searches.. might be some kind of house cleaning i guess. I dont know if the bot still come back if you are sandboxed?

The sites are still crawled by the bots but will never rank again like before and also the traffic will be decimated

There are no second chances with google. Penalties tend to be permanent. Build a new site.

Buzz, you are only witnessing the beginning, you are quite lucky if you ask me. This is not unusual and it happens a lot over and over, it's a sad fact. You can never make a site, get it in the search engines, and then relax like wily hilly; it just doesn't work that way. This happens to me a lot of times, nobody can master the search engines without a strong grip hold, meaning you have to update your site etc. You think Google cares about you? I think not. How often do you SEO, because this is very strange that you seem shocked of this.
