Alright, well here's my own personal review of Google Chrome.

It's fucking awesome!

P.S. It's a hell of a lot quicker than IE so take that Microsoft!

Well.. looks like Firefox is just going to be collecting dust on my computer now.

No Bugs?

And you mean the constant stream of data going to the Google's Servers doesn't make it any slower?
 
LOL, i think google has more powerfull servers than my head has hair :)

Don't be afraid to surf slower with google chrome man, maybe there are a gross of bugs in it....i will test it one of these days...

Are you aware of any security issues with Google Chrome? Is it more secure than IE? Either way, I'll check it out.
 
I think my grandmothers open front door is more secure than IE lol.
 
There are only two questions:

1. How much surf&user data is submitted to google (especially if you use gmail, great etc. already)
2. How does Chrome handle Cookies?

PS: I haven't looked at it yet. But I am frightened too of an "almighty" Google
 
I really like how you can drag tabs outside of the window to make a new window and drag windows onto other windows to make it into a tab.
 
I guess that nobody wonders why Google is so eager to gather data on your surfing habits.

I would certainly not use any Google browser while I am SEOing, especially on my affiliate sites - not for the life of me!

Could be nice but no thanks. Id like to keep my privacy and income better.

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you

it's pretty easy to test, and its not the only browser that does. lots of mobile browsers, and also some version of opera, do not clear refs, according to my logs (I personally tested chrome though)
 
Sure is. The one thing that I can't take is not being able to use RoboForm, so until there's an addon for Chrome I wont be using it.
 
Here is something else that you should definitely pay attention to. Take note of the terms and conditions.

Although you, of course, retain any copyrights to your own content that you use within Chrome, Google says it has a right to display that content, in conjunction with promoting its services. Here's the exact wording:

"By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content which you submit, post or display on or through, the services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the services and may be revoked for certain services as defined in the additional terms of those services."

Be warned.
 
You know what bothers me about it? It recognized that I had Firefox and gave me the option of importing my 'remembered login and password list'. If Chrome can do that, then I'm sure other applications can as well.

Yup... that disclaimer certainly sounds like Big G... I think I will pass. They have more data on me than I would prefer as it is.

I think I'll stick to FF.
 
What sucks is that most sheeple will start using this thing and then what will we do when double metas are completely irrelevant? I don't like this one bit.

if you use server-side refreshes instead of html refreshes on your pages, i dont think it would matter what browser someone is using.

it's not too bad, it only shows the meta-redir page as the referer, not the linking page. I don't mind since have all of my redirs on a different, clean domain anyways
