my goal sending 100 packets at once for a test

@ NetHead - Did you get your SEO clients on a recurring monthly rate?

For $5 you can hire someone on Fiverr with excellent rating to be your personal assistant for 1-3 hours and get leads off Manta. Focus on quality worker, not how many hours you can [supposedly] get someone to work and your leads will be better.

Hope you will success in this testing! And please come back and let us know result!

Good stuff man. Looking forward to seeing your progress. I'm starting to send out packets next week. Just researching the businesses now. Gluck!

sorry for the late update! i got stoned and forgot haha well i have sent a total of 85 packets with about 8% conversion, i have been doing some testing with the web design packet that i have designed, id say they are about even on conversion. for the amount of profit i make average 1k per client which i think i might be a bit too low but im happy with where im at right now. i will be doing this on a smaller but steady scale throughout the rest of the year along with my other campaigns

Ok so you have an 8% conversion rate on 85 packets.

So thats a conversion of around 7 for the 85 packets.

7 packets = $7000 profit give or a take a little.

I think thats a pretty good return on your investment.

Sending out around 20 tomorrow. Lets see how it pans out. Had to use a little twist since I didnt have enough junk mail to clip ads out of so I searched some adwords clients who are not ranking in G places or in an organic search for local search terms.

My question is should i show the broad search results for their keywords or exact?

Because in the city I am doing this in, their keyword would get around 10,000 searches in broad and only 480 in exact. That is for a dentist office so imagine how low the exacts would be for something like a car wash.

When you say 1K per client is that the setup fee and the monthly fee combined for when client signs up and then it's half of that each month for recurring fees or is it 1K/mo initial and then same 1K/mo recurring for each client?

oh by the way for finding their address,, that is part of research you do, i like to use sites like manta. if i cant find their address and business owners name rather quickly then i go to the next company.

the hardest part is the research, and its quite boring and time consuming to be honest but its work and as long as i get paid its fine with me

Did you follow the method exactly and setup a personalized site for each client you sent a packet or not? Did you just find clients by doing the advert clippings from the magazines or did you use any other method to find clients to send the packets i.e. those doing Adwords and not on 1st page of Google Places, etc.?

So you send it to the business owner's address or the address of the business? I've got a list of 60 prospects that I'm currently working on packets for, but the only thing I don't have for them yet is the addresses.

I sent out 10 letters and have another 10 ready to send out this week. What was your response like neathead
