Anybody know the step by step way to convert a CSV data feed file to OScommerce/easy populate? :)

THe sample sheet I included is a example of how to convert (the most important thing is to change the header row to make it compatiable with OSCommerce).

One question though. You mention a person may come to the site and want to buy something, but obviously they can't since you really don't have the product. You're just generating traffic and sending them elsewhere. Is that right?
It would seem doable then to just remove the "buy" button, yes?

The way I did it was by exporting the database first. Obviously I didn't have any products in there, but by just exporting, you get the structure of the headers. You then just match up the header with the column. For instance, v_products_description_1 will be the header where your description column is. v_products_price will be the header where your price column is...etc. Some of the column header names you won't use. Just use the ones you need for which you have data columns for. Save this as .csv format and import into oscommerce.

OP...I created an account an all but ended up not getting the add to cart after all...
any chance its going to be up for grabs again soon??
 
The ebook was about buiding an ecommerce site using oscommerce and adding datafeeds and importing them at Google Base... I tried it but Google just banned my Google Base account after adding all products on my site... This didn't worked for me...
