TRAFFIC AND REVENUE UPDATE FOR NOVEMBER

This month has been surreal, the revenue is 10 times bigger than the previous month. Affiliate commissions went through the roof. Adsense is also at the highest value yet.

Let's get to the good part...

EARNINGS BREAKDOWN:

Summing up affiliate earnings, starting with the screenshots shared this month:
244.5 + 122.5 + 232.5 + 139.81 + 1229.5 + 2122 = 4090.81

I also had another 322.53 from various affiliate programs which were either sent directly to bank account or I left them in balance to add up.

As for ads revenue, Ezoic made $0.45 until was stopped for invalid traffic. Adsense made $73.86 which is entirely from blog 1.

In total: (Affiliate) $4413.34 + (Ads) $74.31 = $4487.65

This is a very unexpected but pleasant surprise and the excitment will only continue because I can't estimate traffic/revenue for December, so I'm just free falling down the rabbit hole into Wonderland.

NOVEMBER: $4487.65
OCTOBER: $439.32

That's great mate, it shows that finding the best affiliate network is indeed important to grow the income, happy that you find yours :)

Most articles wrote in October got to 1st place in SERP by main keyword and the season kicked in.

I don't think affiliate program matters that much in my case. Mostly it's luck, because I found a selling product for which people use keywords that advertisers aren't using/aware of yet.
Very few times have I seen or heard a
If I think about it, it looks more like a sales funnel. And if I were to check the RPM of the money pages, it's probably much higher than 200, because the rest of the website has an RPM below $10.
Congratulations buddy.
Thanks man and welcome back!

Update:

- I got close to $1,000 in total affiliate commissions pending so far for December but most of them were generated last month.

- Traffic has resumed to around 400 daily uv. The increase to 600 daily uv only lasted 4 days, but I'm not complaining.

I got a little complacent lately because of the gains (wrote less), so I decided to get back on track by learning new things and improving what works for me now (which is 0 comp keywords). I went to the journey threads and looked for more insights so I found some valuable info from @spectrejoe

He also uses 0 comp strategy but while I search for the keywords directly in serp to see comp, he uses allintitle, which seems to be better when the comp isn't exactly zero, but a bit higher.

Next big thing I learned from him is that I don't need to write big articles for 0 comp. He is right, it should rank regardless. So I can increase the length later when needed. I can do that using Kikerinka's way of increasing page RPM by adding paragraphs based on new GSC queries, which seems to also be the best way to extend an article.

I already started writing smaller pieces of content. It's so much easier to write a small piece (500 words). Ironically I'll end up writing more content than before. This is pretty exciting because although it sounds like a shortcut, I think it's the better approach for 0 comp keywords.

what plugin you use fore seo?
I started with Yoast, then RankMath then SEO Framework and now I'm back to Yoast because I'm more used to it.

Thanks for the mention! You'll be surprised how many articles end up in top 10 right off the bat even with 300-500 words only for these keywords!

I got keywords ranking in top #1-3 bringing 5-50 daily visits each with like 300 words that I haven't even had the need to add content to! It saves work but more importantly it saves time.
Time that could be better used to dish out more content for more keywords.

I like to think of this as the "Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks" approach :p

Generally if something doesn't even get within top 30 I don't bother adding content.

Just remember to track the keywords & give it time to rank (can take half a year or even longer in some cases unfortunately)

I've never seen such high CTR – 14.8%! You're killing it man, keep going.

you feel link rankmath and yoast are same good at the end? im with rankmath and like it but maybe checking yoast soon

which theme are you using? I designed my theme with gutenberg, I guess that's why visitors don't come to my site.

I don't think it's a theme related issue if you don't get visitors in the first place. How old is your site? Are you still in the sandbox maybe?

Rankmath can do more things than Yoast but I don't think either of them deserves too much attention. Use whichever you like.
Hi OP, do you use Semrush for research or Ahrefs?
I rarely use Semrush, maybe once in 2 months. For keyword research I use Google autosuggest (alphabet soup) and sometimes keywordtool.io

Astra Theme. Also the user below answered to you:

Big mistake on your part in my opinion.
If done right, SEMrush can give you way more insights & ideas than just simply "bruteforcing" the Google suggestions and whatnot.
Below a few screenshots from a website I've launched in June (127 articles, 100k words) :

Google Search Console

Google Analytics (Organic Sessions only)

Same but by week

a2a4c62469.png

Total sessions for December should be between at least 7 and 9k, and this is 100% WhiteHat SEO.

Keyword research needs to be done right if you want to find right content,
and looking only at what Google auto-suggests when you type this or that is not the way to do it, nor the way to discover new playing grounds.
How do you analyze competitors and their content with Google auto-suggest ? Do you really want to beat them or do you just want to blindly try to do it ?

Anyway, those were just my two cents ;)
Good luck on your journey

Semrush is kinda expensive though
