I would recommend you to gather a good number of directories based in UK and be sure of creating links in these properties.
I think that will help the websites to solidify their rankings in UK.
And if you used Google Insight to find the region(s) where the search volume comes from, you could use some strings like:
(State) Directory
(City) Directory
(Zipcode) Directory
+
"submit url";
"add url" ;
"add website" etc...
(State) blogs
(City) blogs
(Zipcode) blogs
I think you get the picture...

You can also grab or create rss feeds to all the properties you have been done and rss bookmark. Then submit them to many rss aggregators. And also if you have read YUKINARI84'a posts,you will be guided. His a Killer.

Congrats on getting indexed so quickly! Just keep building deep backlinks to your inner pages and make sure you have your pages interlinked and the big G will index your entire site in no time.

Not yet, Today I received 2 visitors from search engines from my keyword. 1 from google and 1 from bing. Yesterday I made a blast of 10.000 auto approve blogs to my main site, today I have 100 backlinks on yahoo site explorer. Today I increased to position 30 from 33 in google UK, and increased from 48 to 38 in yahoo uk. Hope to increase more when the auto approve backlinks are found natural. I am not forcing to index those backlinks.
Also planning on making a blast to my inner pages.
