    Hey guys,

So I just purchased my first premium domain, it set me back a cool £5,500 for it - The owner wanted £25,000 but he was broke and needed the money ASAP..

I got it at a bargain price imo - It's an EMD for a UK based Telecoms related Niche with close to 10,000 monthly exact match searches and around 30,000 with long tails.

Close to 14 years old and has 15 DA at the moment.

So, if you have any questions (ofcourse I won't be showing you the domain) just ask below :)

    - DH

It's through my current company just setting up a new number for it and i'll re-direct it to 1 of my sales guys :) Then hopefully take on some more sales once it's ranking properly!

Sorry for being a noob, but why does this sound like a real rip-off to me?

Not only for the "lame excuse" of seller needing money and dropping the price by 78%, but also for even that £5,5k for a domain of that little search volume? And while it's aged, DA of 15 doesn't sound that much - unless my tool doesn't give me accurate info, as I have one 6mo old domain (main ranked terms 33k and 200k+ exact matches) with DA of 18.

Now, I'm not a domainer, nor have I ever bought "premium" domains, but somehow that just feels way overpriced to me - or is it just me?

I have a 15 year old domain. I was really looking for 100K for it but seems as you are on a roll I'm sure I could deal around £10,000 (favour price)

A domain is premium if it's brandable and doesn't infringe anyone's trademark. I think you should've asked here before buying that because investing into a domain to rely on Google is a bad decision.

Wait...aren't you that 16 year old that makes $800 / Month? If that's the case, don't you think it's a little overkill to spend that much on just one domain? :ranger:
