Hello to everyone! Just want to be polite and introduce myself. I am pretty new to all this stuff, but not new to scripting, the web, websites, etc. I am an IT pro, and have been working in the internet field for 11 years, helping other people make huge money with my knowledge. I figure it's not time to make a little for myself!
Like I said, I have been doing a LOT of reading for the past month, and up to now, have just dabbled in things relating to my little music blog. But I am really looking to scale up exponentially in the next year. I don't expect to make a million bucks, but a grand a week is a nice little goal I have for myself.
I hope to connect to and converse with the real talent around here...I have a few ideas kicking around, and some serious questions I will be asking, AFTER I read and search a bit.
As far as experience, well, I have written my first program that is a link injector and builder, however crude. It's an idea I got at another site, and being the perl freak I am, whipped it up on a Saturday. I went from 4 or 5 back links to a couple hundreds in a couple of days, but the real boost was in search terms used to access my site. All I can say is CRAZY! But it definitely got my interest up.
Ok, I'm off to read the forums! Hopefully, I have attracted some interest, and I can make a few contacts!
