My first Pinterest Journey

The trick to Pinterest is organic interaction. Pinning the same image multiple times in the same way will probably raise a flag.

Hi everybody. I see so many started and abandoned journeys here, so i've decided to give this one a proper ending. I officially declare fail on my first IM Journey. Kaput. Finito. 
Let me explain what happened briefly. Like i explained in the beggining, my plan was to grow one main account with 5 quality satelites around it,to repin and boosts him. That happened, my main got to like 5.5K followers and as soon as i started joining group boards and posting my first articles for traffic (was only repining until then), my account and website (rich pin approved and all) got banned immediatelly. That was a setback, but i was not too worried, cos i had other developed account. After that i got two new domains and had other account who had 7K followers and i just used him to join group boards again.
As soon as i started posting in the group boards again, my new main account + my two new domains got banned instantly again (spammy links this time, posting same link in multiple group boards). Now it started getting really anoying.
I did managed to get my account back, they appologized and said they made a mistake with the ban.
Then taking my mistakes into consideration i got like 8 new domains, and the plan was the same, but this time using more domains. I figured instead of focusing on one domain, i can make little from all of them, and the result would be the same. (this had some disadvantages becouse the sites would not be so "autority" like for pinterest and it's smart feed, but i was sick of getting domains banned)
So as i started my new "tactic" it started giving some small result, was making 2.5-3.5$ daily (from the adsense), but truth be told i was really hating it. I was spending all my time in google analytics and adsense accounts,it was fun for me to count and analyse everything, every click,every single page visit and when the time came for the content, to actually attract the visitors... i just didn't like it.
I should add that i got the pinterest way, my images are very pinterest oriented (the format), seo optimized for pinterest starting from the image name file and the rest,started getting some decent repins at the end, but i think if i see another recipe picture i will throw away my laptop.
I don't see this journey as a waste of time, 2-3 months ago (i just saw the date when i started this thread,exacly 2 months ago ) i was a total noob, and now i still am a total noob, but at least with some small experience behind me. It's been a great learning curve for me, i picked up a lot of stuff along the way and i wanna channel them into something new.
I been busting my head for the past couple of days, i want to start some new "journey", but not so content oriented as this one, more like when you get to analyse or research stuff... you know what i mean?
So i want to ask some of the more experienced heads here if they can suggest me something like that? Or is IM really coming down to content and spam?
Anyway bottom line is, i think i didn't give my all to this method, cos i didn't really like it. Maybe if i started to make at least some half half half decent money, i would have been more motivated, but it is what it is. I would like to try somethink i would enjoy at least a little bit.
