Yeah... im just trying to read up on what people are doing and that seemed like an easy enough one to try out... Im not affraid to spend the little money I have for an attempt at greater profit... wither it works or not Ill learn from it and be reading more along the way. Im not really looking to be rich either... i just wanna make a couple hundred extra bucks a month cus im in college and im broke as a joke haha

The cold, hard truth is you probably wont break-even with this method. The sure-fire way to make a profit, however, is learn, work hard and learn some more.

Thanks IsoRipper im keepin my chin up, Im not looking for 10k dolars a month or anything like that just a little extra cash so I can eat something besides cup of soup every now and then haha. Im a poor college kid who works 10 hours a week lol

Good. Welcome to online money world. As most of the people mentioned already most probably you will fail this time. However you will succeed for sure, because unlike 90% of the people you at least dared to start something. You will learn from your failures and pretty soon you will be an expert.

well ... if you want to see what works .. probably you should monitor the ads that show on different sites. The ones that still advertise after 3-4 weeks .. either are very stupid 
or they make a profit .. so .. you can copy them and you'll be sure to make a profit if you advertise in the same place they are with similar or same affiliate program

Interesting, how can you tell if someone is cookie stuffing? Do you just go check your cookies everytime you visit a site?

Well, first thing, glad to see that you have taken action and got started.
Not to try to demoralize you in any way, but its not as simple as buying ads or traffic to your affiliate link and sit back and watch the signups come in.
Thats actually a good way to start. Try to track which ads appear on the sites for a few weeks. If the affiliate still advertises there consistently, it means they are at least making some profit from their ads.

No idea. Then again, I dont practice cookie stuffing, but im sure some of the more experienced members here could answer that.
